Florence Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

First off, I ordered through the Slice app, my requests were for extra sauce, cheese, and pepperoni. All of which were not translated to the kitchen itself. What I received 45 minutes later was the equivalent of a $5 little caesars hot and ready. Disappointment flowed through my veins to my very core. I contacted the store to inform them of my horrid dough nightmare in front of me. It was hard cheese that with one bite, would rip from the slice. It was minimal amounts of spiced pepperoni. There was no extra sauce, all of which I put in to the Slice App. This pizza was of quality that only a street cat could enjoy. I believe my Slice pizza driver potentially made 30 other stops before I received my pizza.

I contacted the store, and spoke with a very caring and receptive individual. He listened to my concerns and approached the situation with a managerial retort which was "What may I do to correct this issue for you" in an eager manner to rectify the scenario. I requested a new pizza properly made to the specifications desired. He ensured that another pizza would be ready in about 10 minutes. I did have to drive there, however was met with another friendly asset of the company that apologized again for the occurrence. The pizza that came out was absolutely mind-blowingly excellent. The pizza that gods would crave. Cheesy delicious pharmaceutical grade pizza. Nothing short of a rewarding vacation. We were in town for a conference and got in late so we needed something to eat. We selected this eatery based on reviews. The area at night is quiet, next to a bar, and a gas station. It is not a dine-in atmosphere, think, a NYC to go pizzeria. Parking is limited and you have to pull straight in to your spot in front of the store from the street. We ordered a 14” Margherita pizza and plain wings. We waited in the car outside the establishment for about 15-20min and the employee opened the door to hand us the food when it was ready. The box was not very hot and when we got to the AirBnB our order was wrong. As pictured, the wings were baby chicken sized and there was a very spicy sauce slathered over them despite our request for plain wings. The flavor of the wings were just ok but the sauce temp was that of wasabi. The pizza was meh…you couldn’t taste the basil and the base of the pizza was a pesto. I really hate writing this review cause I really loved this place at one time. For many years this was my go-to late night delivery place. I stopped ordering food late at night but tonight decided to splurge on myself. It's been a hard day and thought their baked ziti and my favorite show would be the best pick me up. OMG what they hell did y'all do to that baked ziti?!? That shit use to be bomb. It was SOOOO dry. Completely burnt pasta noodles at all the ends. NO FLAVOR but only burnt tasting. Threw it out. The cooks had to see how burnt it was. Also got fries. Could taste the frost so bad even with old bay seasoning. I'm so damn mad I wasted money...
