Snooze AM Eatery – Foodie Treasure Map Approved! By the grace of the Ghostship, we dropped anchor in a bright and bustling port called Snooze AM Eatery — a place perched between hidden gem and well-loved legend. The walls, a cheerful clash of poppin’ ‘60s orange and blue, whispered songs of old diners past, while a sly little bar winked at us without upsetting the old diner spirit.
Three dishes we hard dug into finding gravy gold, and three victories we claimed, filling our bellies to the brim and stoking our spirits for adventures yet to come:

My colleagues and I will not return to any Snooze location nationwide.
On May 28, 2025, a colleague and I wanted a casual, no-stress breakfast fare at lunchtime. Let me be frank; we were looking for a place as great as "Sams No.3" in downtown Denver, CO.
Once seated, Krislyn greeted us. My colleague and I each placed the same order - a cup of Coffee for $3.95 and a Protein Trio Omelet for $16.50. We both requested peppers and onions (standard, right?) to be added to my omelet, and since Snooze didn't have my preferred rye bread, I asked for a single pancake instead of toast (simple, right?). I was NOT informed that this standard and simple request would result in an upcharge to the price of the PTO. When I received the bill, I selected a 20% tip and paid it without hesitation.
The next day, I retrieved the bill to reconcile it with my expense account. That is when I discovered the upcharge of $7.75 (x2) for adding peppers and onions, as well as substituting a single pancake for toast. I also found that my 20% tip was calculated on the total of food, beverage, and 9.75% sales tax. I called Snooze and spoke with the manager, Brett (or Brent), and explained that I was not informed of the upcharge at the time of order. I requested a refund of $15.50 to my card. The manager laughed at me, denied the requested refund, and replied, "Well, did you ask if there was an upcharge?" suggesting that the consumer was responsible for uncovering the upcharge. I believe the Federal Trade Commission sufficiently addresses the topic of truth in advertising and misrepresentation to consumers.

It is not free – you've got to pay via an online link. As we entered, we were warmly greeted and seated pretty quickly. The menus were massive, so we took a few minutes to go through everything. We were joking and trying to get some reaction from our server, but he was not into it and was very dry. He wasn’t rude, but not very personable. The first thing we tackled was our drink order. Wifey went for regular coffee, I opted for a hot Chai latte, my oldest chose a Chilled Matcha (never sweet enough for her), and my youngest went for a Strawberry Lavender Lemonade. Our drinks arrived, and my chai came out in what looked like a water glass. I “assumed” it was chilled and mentioned to the server that I wanted it hot, and she responded stoically, "It is hot." She shared a similar deadpan, emotionless demeanor with our main server. He returned after we got our drinks, and we locked down our food orders. Wifey went all-in with the OmG! French Toast, a regular french toast dish that came with mascarpone and vanilla cream. I kept it traditional with the French Toast Neat. My oldest ordered the Sweet Potato Veggie Smash Up, and my youngest went for The Snooze Classic. While enjoying our drinks, I noticed the food was taking a bit longer than expected. Confirming with everyone, they agreed – the food was slow to come out. Finally, the food arrived, and it not only looked good but tasted delicious too. We ended up sharing small pieces with each other. Despite the dry interaction with our servers and the somewhat slow service, it didn't overshadow the fantastic food, drinks, cool location, and overall atmosphere. Worth noting, the folks at the front were warm and personable. We will definitely be back to try some...
