Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

MINUS ZERO stars for this Sonic! I've tried several times over the years to give this Sonic a chance, but they always seem to disappoint. Prior to COVID, there were incorrect orders, slow workers, and poor customer service. That is still the case!

I went out today to purchase a cheeseburger combination. When I arrived, around half of the stalls were filled, and only one female carhop was visible, but inside I could see two guys. After a few moments, the speaker came to life. "No onions?" the guy employee said after I ordered my combo with extra onions. No, I want extra onions, I said. He then inquired about the side and the beverage, but the screen still showed no onions. Is there anything else? he inquired. You need to change it to extra onions, I remarked. He responded that it was right on his screen, but that the screens outside did not always reflect this. Okay, whatever, as long as I get some extra onions, I said. So, because he didn't appreciate being questioned, that's where he must have developed an attitude. Several vehicles departed the location, and others arrived. I sat there observing a large number of individuals come and leave. When I finally pressed the button again, a male voice inquired if he could take my order. When I explained that I was still waiting, he apologized and said, "Oh, sorry, she's bringing it out right now."

As the orders came in, I could see them all being placed on the counter. The order in which they were being carried out the door was visible to me. My order was definitely and DELIBERATELY pushed to the far side because that's where she got it. As I drove away, I discovered that everything was cold, and the drink had become watered down from sitting. At that point, I did not trust the food or drink, so I threw it all away. No telling what they did to it! This place exists due to the unsuspecting motorists who do not know any better when they exit the interstate. Next, I proceeded to Hardee's, where I was greeted warmly and received hot, fresh food. Sonic is no longer a part of my life!

I should also mention that, because it was a holiday, I went there intending to tip the carhop well. Even though I received horrible service, I did still tip. My order was $7.64, and she got the rest of a twenty-dollar bill. I will assume it was the jerk inside that caused this review because I can't verify she...

Would be ZERO STARS if was an option. I ordered 2 times today from DoorDash from This Bellvue, TN SONIC - In first order there are my 2 Chicken Sandwiches missing and DoorDash did right and refunded me since Sonic showed it was filled on receipt - so I myself did another DoorDash order just for the same 2 missing chicken sandwiches, with the refund….. 40 minutes later Dasher calls and says they are telling me they don’t make chicken sandwiches. So you are liars first of all at Sonic because YOU KNEW FROM THE 1st ORDER ABOVE YOU DID NOT THE CHICKEN SANDWICHES BUT DID NOT REDUND THEM TO DOORDASH!!!!! Instead you’re snakes in the grass, that sent my order out making DoorDash believe you filled the order completed so that They would refund me. Little did you know I would turn around d and place DoorDash just for 2 chicken sandwiches AND 40 mins later tell the driver yall don’t serve chicken sandwiches. Wow truly are dishonest people working here. I will find out your Franchise Store owner for Your store location and report this dishonest staff he has working here. I have receipts and calls from DoorDash to back it up! Never will ever order...

Busy busy busy! I stopped to get iced tea and this place was completely full. The poor girl who was doing the car hopping, was by herself had no help. She worked her little tail off. God bless her. So just out of curiosity I had to stay and see how long it would take. The spot next to me I watched as 7 cars pulled in and waited to get their order filled. They all got frustrated and left. When they left the the button was still flashing. The 8th car that pulled in hit the jackpot. They pulled in and the intercom comes on and says may I take your order. It was funny. My turn was up next. Anyway I think it took almost 45 minutes to get my order. But I wasn't in a hurry, I have a lot of patience. This is actually pretty good location it's not my go-to, but I slept in my car in that area, became homeless on Friday, trash left in parking lot close to this location. You have to keep in mind that this was on Sunday, church day. So it's busy anyway. The car hop took it in stride, and was very pleasant, had a very good attitude considering she was overloaded.
