Super Duper Disappointed.... I've had this on my list for almost a year, was my birthday and pulled the trigger to go. We saw a reservation for 5:45 and took it. Arrived and the hostess said they don't open til 6, (well why do you have a reservation for 5:45....) So we stood and waited til 5:57 and they sat us... Awkward... It was super quiet, NO LIVE MUSIC!! Their website shows "Music & Dinner 6-10", NO!! Inside shows the artist list that don't arrive til 9pm... Website is misleading...
I ordered the Ribeye, and was the saddest $44 steak. I felt like it was a ribeye from Sizzler, not a swanky steak house. I asked for Medium, and received rare... I tried to deal with it, and the server agreed, that's not the medium she put in. Then I wait get a new steak and it arrives Well Done... I sadly gave up. Then to add insult to injury, they also forgot the onion rings... The server said she will rush the onion rings, and 10min later they brought fries... Apparently they don't cook the sides in bulk, its as ordered. So they had to order again the onion rings and 40min later we finally received, no joke... And getting refills was almost as difficult as getting the onion rings... Now a table of 20 came in at 6:15 and my server was fixated on them.. Now if the food was on point, I'd take the hit on service, but to have poor food AND service....
The inside is super cool, the rolls are amazing, and so is the blue cheese salad, everything thing else was an absolute disappointment. I didn't finish my steak, wife didn't finish her chicken.. And before we got the check, they finally started to play music on the speakers, rest of the time, it was nothingness, just hearing clashes of noise from the kitchen & convos from tables around you...
Were not picky people... I really really wanted to enjoy this steakhouse, and for how long I've been wanting to go here, all hyped up in my mind, and to receive the lack luster food & service for $200, breaks my heart to write this. Oh and did I mention waiting 15min to get my CC back, that our server gave to another table.......
Read moreMy wife and I didn’t have any dinner plans on a Friday night, so we decided to keep it easy and find a spot nearby that had live music. We showed up around 7 pm, just as the place was starting to fill up and the band was warming up — great timing.
The menu had a solid variety of steaks and other dishes, but we were in the mood for something hearty, so we both went with steak dinners, which came with several sides.
Opti Roll (complimentary): These rolls were a pleasant surprise — warm, golden, and slightly salty on the outside with soft, fluffy insides. The whipped butter melted right in and added just the right touch of richness. Simple, but really satisfying.
House Salad (included): A generous bowl of crisp greens topped with crunchy croutons and bits of savory bacon. It had a nice balance of freshness and flavor, and for a complimentary side, the quality was surprisingly high.
Onion Rings & Fries (included, all-you-can-eat): The onion rings were standout. Thick-cut, perfectly crispy, well-seasoned on the outside with hot, tender onion inside. Honestly, some of the best I’ve had in a long time. The fries were solid too, but the rings definitely stole the show.
Chopped Steak: The steak was juicy, tender, and cooked just right, with a great sear on the outside. The texture reminded us more of a high-quality burger patty — rich and meaty, in the best way. We both really enjoyed it.
Ice Cream (separate order): This dessert was a winner — creamy vanilla ice cream with cookie crumbles mixed in. What made it special was a drizzle of olive oil layered in, which added a subtle nuttiness and a super smooth mouthfeel. Not overly sweet, just refreshing and delicious. One of the best ice creams I’ve had in a while.
Overall, we had an awesome time. The food hit the spot, the service was friendly, and the live music gave the evening a laid-back, feel-good vibe. If you’re into casual dining with great food and live tunes, this place is definitely...
Read moreI’m in town for a few days, and my best friend—who recently moved here—insisted, “Maram, I have to take you to this awesome place.” And awesome it was, indeed.
I haven’t been truly impressed by a place in a long, long time. From the intimate ambiance to the thoughtful details and attentive service—it was an experience. Apparently, there was a live band scheduled, but since we didn’t have reservations, we had to leave a bit early.
The menu? Simple and to the point. No overwhelming list of options—just pick your steak, tell them how you want it cooked, and they take care of the rest. Perfect.
We started with two rolls of warm, super-yummy bread—honestly, more like amazing.
Next came a generously sized salad for each of us. And wow—what was that?! Fresh lettuce, a few rings of onion, crisp cucumbers, the most amazing croutons, and a creamy blue cheese dressing that wasn’t overpowering—just right. Topped with crispy bacon bits... it felt like it was made with love. I practically inhaled it.
Then came the steak—served on a bed of melted brown butter. What??? It was perfect. Melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Alongside came a basket of crispy wedge fries and golden onion rings. Folks, this place is no joke.
And then—dessert. I ordered a single scoop of ice cream, expecting the usual. Instead, it came in a drinking glass, layered with saltine crackers, a hint of salt, and who knows what else—but it was hands down the best ice cream I’ve had in a long time. Maybe I’m exaggerating... but you really need to go try it for yourself to understand what I mean!
To the team: amazing job. Thank you! I’ll definitely be back next time...
