The Ground level rooms are pretty nice for the price. The lovely ladies & laundry guy's keep it clean and fresh daily. BUT. And this is a BIG BUT.. Don't ever wanna try to pay to stay for a week at this particular location, the price ain't bad, but the quality is gutter! Stating it was standard for weekly stays, they moved me from the room I had occupied, to a room to the third floor, so I had to drag all my luggage up there, at least there was an elevator tho. However, the clerk gave me two keys to check them both out, and the one, definitely wasn't happening, it was rife with a concerning murder typa vibe, & that's on 💯 I felt real disturbed jus walking up in there. So, after not taking my time looking at the other room, I went ahead and drug all my stuff up. Welp upon closer inspection, I was fully not about that life! It was cruddy dirty, (Sheets, blankets, pillows, etc. erything was old, & dusty, smelled of mold and mildew, and they had painted recently, but the smell was too strong to tolerate comfortably. And the worst part, was there was little to no security, besides the detail outside that chex out the perimeter during his shift. But what about when he's relieved? I'm not sure, but the fact of the absence of the solid state security lock on the doors, & could readily be kicked in, the neighborhood ain't real bad, but yet, for them to place a young woman such as myself, lodging alone, in an unsafe, non-secured, poor quality, slummy room? After I had already been a patron of the establishment for almost two week's.. Just doesn't say much for the management & operations team. I was angry and disappointed to say the least. And after I took a cpl hour's packing my luggage up, getting freshened up, etc. I was about to head down to the office to pay and request a higher quality, securable room that I felt comfortable and safe paying $400 to stay in for 7 night's, before I could leave the room, a random girl burst thru the room door, and exclaimed, "My bad!" I didn't know anyone was in here!" So evidently, they gave her the key as well after I didn't come right back. Then the clerk, (It was a diff. that had came on shift at this point.) Proceeded to be very rude & combative with me, Insisting why did I take so long b4 I decided to come & pay, and I told him the situation. i.e, insinuated I was lying and not planning on paying for the room! I told him I had been staying on the ground floor of that hotel for 2bweeks And paid on time, everytime, so why would I be trying to cheat them out of money now??! All I wanted was to be given a nicer, safer, room, as a valuable customer, and a loyal Expedia Member! Instead, this man told me that I needed to get off the property & go somewhere else to stay. This final experience ruined the entire stay for me. Made to feel as if I did something wrong, instead of what was on his part, unfair business & traveler's practice, unsafe, unsanitary, & non-accommodating facilities, and a lack of polite, reasonable, professionalism by management. I left quite dissatisfied, and chose Choice Hotels for My...
Read moreDo Not Stay Here — Rude Staff, Disgusting Behavior, and Absolutely Zero Hospitality
If you're considering Knights Inn Nashville, STOP right now. This place is a complete disgrace to the hotel industry. I’m not exaggerating when I say this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in any kind of lodging.
Let’s start with the staff—because wow, I’ve never met a more unfriendly, unprofessional, and downright nasty group of people in customer service. From the moment I walked in, it felt like I was interrupting some kind of personal drama. The person at the front desk didn’t greet me, didn’t smile, didn’t even acknowledge me for a solid five minutes. When she finally did speak, it was with a tone like I had just insulted her family. No welcome, no eye contact, and certainly no attempt at hospitality. Just, “ID and credit card,” like I was being booked into jail.
I asked a basic question about check-out times, and she literally rolled her eyes like I was being annoying. Another staff member walked by me and reeked so bad I had to hold my breath. I’m not talking a little BO—this was full-on haven’t-showered-in-days type of stink. You should not have to gag when you’re checking in.
The hotel itself is just as bad. The room key they gave me didn’t work. Went back to the desk and got zero apology. The replacement key finally opened the door, only to reveal a room that smelled like old cigarettes and mildew. Sheets looked used. The floor was sticky. Hair in the sink. Crumbs on the counter. I called for fresh sheets and was met with, “We’ll get to it when we get to it.” They didn’t get to it. I had to sleep with a towel over the bed.
The next morning, I tried to ask another front desk worker about breakfast options. She looked up from her phone like I was interrupting her TikTok binge and said, “There’s coffee. That’s it,” and went back to scrolling. I guess I should have been grateful for that answer, since most of the time they act like even speaking to a guest is beneath them.
To make things worse, I overheard two staff members LAUGHING at a guest who had asked for a different room because theirs had bugs. That’s not a joke—that’s disgusting and dangerous. If this is the culture Knights Inn Nashville encourages, then this place has serious management problems.
Bottom line: the staff here are rude, unwashed, lazy, and clearly hate their jobs and the people they’re supposed to serve. The rooms are dirty. The atmosphere is hostile. And there’s absolutely no reason anyone should ever stay here.
Save yourself the headache. Pay the extra $10 or $20 and go somewhere that actually wants your business. Knights Inn Nashville should be ashamed of how they...
Read moreUpdate after owner response- You suggest that I (the customer) experienced 'CONFUSION'! Sorry, you continue to exemplify the ISSUE in which you fail to listen or take responsibility. No, your team is NOT following practices because I left my room #134 Friday morning Dec 2 (locked) and when I returned Friday evening my drinks/contents of my fridge were taken. There was no 'forced entry' and my bed was made. A non-employee thief would not have made my bed. It doesn't look good when management is trying to defend and cover for their employee issue whether it was a mistake or theft! The desk man said they have a 'log' of who/when a room was cleaned. I tried to call you back as you suggested to discuss 'offline', but it appears the horribly rude, aggressive desk employee I called Sat morning Dec 3 (who told me to 'shut my mouth' and hung up on me) has blocked my number. So, at this point it seems my only option is to file a police report for theft. At this point I could care less about the $30 of items I am missing but am offended with how I was/am being treated and the fact that you and your team think that it is okay to dismiss what happened and deny the theft or mistake and try to cover it up. I stayed in room #134 on Dec 1-3 so I am sure you can reach me. You can continue to deny the situation or choose to resolve it like a respectable business would. Unfortunately, if you read through other negative reviews of your place there is a trend with you all dealing with issues happening there. Maybe if you weren't so stubborn and bully like, you could achieve higher than a 3.3 rating. People may never forget how they were treated....it doesn't cost anything to be nice and respectful. When people leave their items in your locked rooms they are trusting your business....you may want to respect that and protect that TRUST a...
