We had The Pepper Pott cater our wedding last fall! It was truly such a pleasure experiencing Guyanese cuisine! We were met with the most warm hospitality from staff, and were so grateful for how they partnered with us to make the day special! Isaiah was a great thought partner when we did our taste testing, and helped us make the best decisions based on our budget even though we wanted every item we tasted on our menu, because it was SO good and delicious! They were so responsive and accommodating to us when we needed to make last minute changes to the menu. We ended up with the most yummy spread! It was a highlight of our special day for sure! The Mac n cheese had the perfect baked crunchy crust on top, the chickpeas were an unexpected savory, but delectable addition to the meal, and the oxtails packed flavor! Plantains were very sweet almost too sweet, and the mango tea almost caused a tooth ache, I recommend watering it down and reduce the Cinnomon. The Mac n cheese was similar to Velveeta. Overall, I would recommend toning it down on so many different spices, cinnamon, ginger, mango,and remove soy sauce in the cabbage Don't over do it, you don't have to,.keep it simple the the main entre the most flaovrful . All the food is good, and they had delicious options for our vegetarian and vegan family members.
