horrible service! walked in there was no greeter or waitress to be seen so I peeped my head around back to finally find someone she got my two friends and I to a table sat us down, mind you there was only 2 other occupied tables. it took her 5 minutes to bring us a menu then another 5 just to ask what we would like to drink. a few moments later I knew what I wanted to order my friends didn't the waitress comes back to the table and is trying to take my food order didn't ask my friends if they where ready and tried taking their menus in which of course they were not ready so we asked for a few more moments, first of all a world wide sign of not being ready to order is sitting at a table quietly looking in a menu! then approx.. 3 minutes later she brought us our ordered sodas so now its been about 15 minutes just to get a drink. my friends figured out what they'd like to order and closed their menus waiting for her to stop at our table after passing our table 2 times empty handed each time. once we got our food she took one of my friends sodas and brought back water he stated to her he was drinking a mtn dew half way through eating she decided to bring him his specified mtn dew. with about 3 pieces of sushi left on our plates she finally comes to ask how our meal was. personally my food was fine my friends sushi was falling apart which shouldn't happen with a good sushi expertise. I will not recommend this place to any of my friends and I will not return back to this sushi location fore Im quite disappointed I feel I would have gotten better service at a waffle house...
Read moreClean and Friendly, but when talking about the food, there was no flavor. I couldn't tell that they used any rice vinegar when they cooked the rice. The rice was mushy "soft". I just can't eat sushi with the texture of mashed potatoes. The price was 3 rolls for $40.. We usually get a whole hibachi and two rolls for that price. The difference from this place's Sushi and somewhere like "Wasabi" on Nolensville Rd or "Kobe'" On Murfreesboro Pike is way different. It is also one of them places that does not refill drinks. They bring a glass of ice and a bottled soda. It seems that they have cut so many corners "costs" by using the generic brands that they have lost too much flavor and quality. I understand there is overhead to running a business and it's expensive to run a restaurant. I just don't see how they stay open. I thought FRU FRU village living would have better Sushi close to it. Kind of like the amazing burger shop down the road. We barely ate and left everything on the plate, they didn't mind that we hardly ate any of it. It's just one of those places you...
Read moreVery disappointed tonight. I went in to order To Go while my daughter was at nail place next door. I ordered a bottle of Saki. I ordered some To Go rolls and gyoza as well. When I finished the Saki they brought my check. I paid and tipped accordingly. They brought my To Go order and I went to the car to wait for my daughter. I was planning to move the car closer to the nail salon. The restaurant manager had followed me outside and said I was too drunk to drive. I said I wasn't but she was going to call police. I told her my daughter was in the nail salon in next building but she made me leave the food in my car to get cold and go back inside to wait 18 minutes until my daughter was finished. She even wanted my daughter's name and phone number to let us leave (she is 30 yo). This was unacceptable and ridiculous. We will not be back. Only reason I gave a 2 star is that I still really...
