WARNING: READ THE FINE PRINT OF YOUR RENTAL AGREEMENT AND TAKE A VIDEO OF THE APARTMENT BEFORE YOU MOVE.
The complex itself and living aspect to the building were okay, no complaints there. Place was clean and nice with little to no issues while living here. The ownership of this complex and the management is the reason for the 1/5 stars. This complex will try to nickel and dime you any given chance they have. When I signed my lease I asked for specifications in person on if I had to break my lease. I was told that I would need to pay 3 months rent and provide a 60 day notice. Upon attempting to break my lease later on due to moving for work I was told I would owe 5 months rent to complete the process. Due to this, I was forced to complete my rental agreement with them because I did not having 5 months of rent in cash and available. After completing the rental agreement, I was charged $900 instead of the remaining $180 for my final week of rent on the final rental bill. After pulling teeth to get them to provide any reasoning for the surcharges, they finally provided and itemized list. There were multiple extra charges that were never incurred on any other months rent. Multiple (between 2 and 3) billing fees for water, maintenance, pest control, and a trash service fees. All of these fees were expected but not multiple line items. I was even charged a cleaning fee even though I thoroughly cleaned the apartment before I left. I was also charged for multiple minor damages that I did not cause nor ever encounter. After asking for an explanation the apartment stopped responding to me and would only send the $900 statement with no explanation. It was obvious that this was intentional and most likely happens with every person who moves out. It has been 1 month with no explanations of the extra $700 in charges and I have been forced to pay or be sent to collections by the apartment. This apartment complex cares about nothing more than getting as much money out of you as possible and they will...

Read moreI take back everything else because you never really know whatâs terrible until events occur that make you realize how bad & Iâm still so hurt. I had my brand new bike/trike (3 wheels) of about $700 get stolen here at the housing designated spot for bikes under a camera, Leasing office provided me with a sticker and all as I followed all requirements to have my trike chained & parked here. Immediately I discovered my bike was stolen I reported to mgt. office with two persons there with absolutely no empathy, kept me waiting only to return to ask that I call the police. I had seen my bike 2 days prior so I asked to review camera footage so as to provide the police some information, they said I couldnât due to privacy concerns; understood. Ok, can someone in your office do? No, the person that can is not here, only the police. That was the end of actions taken or not taken by management. When I finally had a case officer days later, the police call to tell me management said they canât view video footage because camera is faulty??? You tell me one thing & then the police another. Very sketchy that you will not take responsibility for property stolen at a spot you designated for residents with âsecurity camerasâ & yet months later no communication has gone out to residents on this said incident. The lack of transparency leaves me to believe that this is common occurrence & if I had known this could happen, I would have had my property inside my apartment avoiding...
