Even though we love 25 miles away in Bellevue, this has been my family's home church since 2007. In a world where priests and pastors often come under scrutiny, our pastoral leadership is strong and have led the church with a focused vision for years. The Spirit of God is free to move in the services and the name is Jesus is proudly proclaimed. The church shows compassion for the community by giving food and school supplies to under privileged communities. Annually we have events around the holidays for those in need. I have been proud to see where our giving has been sewn into Nashville to help the hopeless. The children's and young adult programs constantly have fresh and exciting activities and ministries for our teen agers and elementary aged children. The leaders of the young adult and children's programs are in tune with the needs of the kids and are involved in each kids life. Oasis is a wonderful church, they are warm and friendly and welcome newcomers with open arms. It's the first church that I have ever been too that does judge you by your past life. They help you to become a better person to walk in God's life. They also do not descrimanate against race. Which was very important to me. I started going here in 2013 with my husband now I am proud to say we are both baptised as of March 6th on this year 2016. I highly recommend this church. Pastors Danny, Jill and Adonis are amazing as well as the other Pastors. They have a wonderful day care and teen classes. They offer different types of life coaching classes that help you cope with life as well as becoming close to God. I could not possibly say enough great things about this church and its leadership. Not only is it impossible to walk through the doors without being welcomed, but you won’t make it too far inside without people wanting to have genuine conversations and get to know you. They call themselves the friendliest church in nashville and it’s true - you will absolutely make a friend the first time you show up. The pastors and leadership team are 100% genuine. This church is incredibly Holy Spirit filled as well. I’ve seen so many miracles, healings and deliverances here in this place. All glory to God. No one is on a pedestal here except Jesus Christ.
