Taqueria Los Gallos — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

The tacos were good, great price but the place is always empty for a reason. We were there for 40 minutes and not a single person walked in. I ordered 5 tacos and my gf ordered 3 and a side of REFRIED BEANS and rice. They gave me an extra taco (charged me for it) and my gf's beans were NOT refried. Tried getting a refund cause we didnt touch it at all. Asked for JUST rice instead. Instead of refunding us the money for the regular beans and rice, they charged us EXTRA for just rice. Went from a normal $28 dollar total into a $36 dollar bill. And to add on to that the lady short changed me $2. Ian trippin cause they prolly need it more than me. Never seen the waitress until it was time for the bill, almost had to walk into the kitchen myself to get some assistance. Tacos are very good but thats about it when it comes...

Located in the Mariachi Plaza, inside a grocery store is this food counter with two ladies pumping out grub.

It's small, hot, dive like but - wow - flavor packed goodness on huge, big as yor head buns.

The Torta Cubano had chorizo, ground beef, ham, a got dog (?, wierd), fried egg, cheese and lettuce. The Regular was just chorizo and beef.

Got some Agua Frescas (limon and pina) and we chowed down.

It's so easy to put down this place based on its location and facade but it really is such an underrated place. I've basically been to all the other taco places and i have to say this is the best one if you're looking for authentic street food. They don't trick you with the small tortillas and they give you generous amounts of whatever you order for tacos. Also you can actually tell apart what ASADA and AL PASTOR is. I recommend ordering the gorditas, yes it might be a little expensive but they're so worth it. If you ordered that in any high end mexican restaurant it could easily sell for double or even...
