On June 9th, at approximately 8:20 a.m. I had a really bad interaction with one your employees (older guy approximately in his 40’s with all gray hair and 4 nose rings in one nostril). I had sat down in the restaurant because all seats were taken in the terminal (due to multiple delayed Southwest flights) and your waiter rudely came up to me and told me I couldn’t sit in the restaurant unless I was ordering and that “You’re taking room for my customers which equals no money for me.” The restaurant had approximately 3-5 other people seated leaving 98% of the restaurant unoccupied. I understand that the restaurant needs to make money but this dude was unnecessarily rude, my initial thought was he probably should not be working with the general public. I was caught off guard with how pompous his attitude was. And when I politely explained to him that there was no seating at the terminal gates because every single seat was occupied due to multiple delayed flights (children were having to sleep on the floor, it was that bad) he proceeded to turn around and point to seats he inaccurately perceived as open and condescendingly pointed, “there’s a chair, there, there, and there.” which were all occupied by small children, who’s heads were not visible over the backrest, so of course he wrongly assumed they were open. Flying is really stressful enough. Please do better to train your staff to be kinder to travelers just looking to sit for a few minutes. There’s a way to communicate, “Sorry, I can’t allow that unfortunately.” In a polite manner rather than being pompous and rude. Three Casks restaurant takes up a very large part of the terminal in front of Gates C24-26. This dudes attitude and demeanor was extremely rude and...
Read moreStopped by for breakfast on my redeye layover. Ordered the biscuits and gravy with eggs and hashbrowns... done perfectly and just what i needed/wanted. Served by a very gracious bartender, Bethany. She's awesome. When I asked for a Jameson's back to Irish up my coffee she recommended an AMAZING!!! Tennessee (Nelson's Greenbrier). Sour mash isn't normally not my thing but Mmm Good! I sipped most, saving just a little for my coffee. It was almost a crime. Bethany is a wealth of knowledge and good spirits ;-)... BUT wait! The Manager, James, gave me a sip of another really good Tennessee whisky and a splash of a truly amazingly smooth Pritchard's small batch that he's thinking of adding to the menu. Smooooooth. The nose has hints of aprocate with a nice peetyness, not too much. James definitely strikes me as a whisky afficionado. Been a very long time since I had this level of service and knowledge of their craft. If you're passing through make sure you stop by, and ask what they recommend. You will not be disappointed. The whisky menu is a truly impressive 3/8"~1/2" thick! It's Tennessee Whisky Goodness! Thank you Bethany...
Read moreI highly recommend Three Casks as the best breakfast option at BNA! I ordered the breakfast sandwich with fresh fruit. I generally don’t expect much when it comes to airport food, but their breakfast sandwich was - no exaggeration - one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. I feel like they read my mind about exactly how I like eggs cooked on sandwiches - just a little runny but mostly set so it’s not a huge mess. Easily the best airport meal I’ve had. The service was also great, very friendly and attentive but not overbearing and I did not feel rushed at all. I actually felt good about leaving a tip here, unlike lots of airport restaurants where you end up being prompted to tip for placing your own order on a screen. I would love to try some of their other options, but to be honest I will probably just get this sandwich again because it was that good! Also, the prices are very reasonable for what you get. It doesn’t seem as marked up as most airport food. They deserve a...
