Waffle House — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

Absolute rude and beyond LAZINESS!!!! Attempted to call in an order so I could just run out and get back before this bad storm hits my area but after (3) failed attempts I assumed that they was extremely busy and couldn't answer and couldn't answer the phone which is totally understandable. But when I am 150 feet away from the building and trying to call for the last time I see the ONLY two employees staring at the phone in a screaming motion to stop ringing as they are sitting down on the counter laughing. This is what is wrong with these companies only having limited applicants and the SO CALLED employees are just plain lazy and only want a check and no respect for their employers or themselves they ONlY DO WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE TO BE AN MEANS TO AN END !!! And it is just ashame that this is where we are at in our society but when enough is enough it's them crying that they can't pay their phone bills so that they can TikTok themselves stealing money from their employers in a matter of speaking because honestly they was NEVER WORTH HIRING TO BEGIN WITH!!! Eat here if you want it's not the company's fault but remember 15% is going to be applied to your take out bill as a gratuity for those who can't earn and honest tip!!! Went through the misery of going to same Waffle House on 5.3.23 and the server was a nice kid who actually made sure my food was actually made right and the restaurant seemed to be cleaned and well organized as opposed to my other encounters there. I did try again to call my order in since it takes me 15 minutes to walk there so I was hoping food would be done or close to it so I could just pay and leave. I attempted to call 3 times as I was walking and when I got to front of the store I was able to see that they were cleaning out some big type of kitchen equipment that had grease and grime all over it so this time I...

I wish I could give a -1 star. I have eaten at this waffle house about 5 times. The time before this was not that good, BUT today was horrible. We walked in and there was only 1 customer and all the tables had old food and dirty dishes on them except for 1. The waitess TOLD us she was the only one there so she has not had a chance to clean the tables from prior customers. She suggested we sit at the bar because it was clean. I ordered my eggs scramble with cheese. I noticed the cook was FRYING THEM! I told waitress I wanted the scrambled not fried. She informed me they were being scrambled. I told her the cook fried them on both sides and then chopped them up and put cheese on them, that is not scrambled..she assured me again they were being scrambled. My eggs were hard and chopped up in melted cheese. We also ordered 2 light waffles, mine was dark of course. The waitress noticed the look on my face and asked if it was too dark. I told her I would just keep it and that my bf would eat what I did not. I took 3 bites of my waffle and past it on. While we were eating the cook and the waitress were talking about young people having babies and about people fighting. The cook was cursing the whole time he told the story..THEY TALKED THE ENTIRE TIME WHILE WE WERE EATING AND DID NOT MAKE A SINGLE ATTEMPT TO CLEAN ANY TABLES. NO OTHER CUSTOMERS HAD COME IN AFTER US EITHER. WE ATE OUR FOOD SURROUNDED BY MESSY TABLES. I hardly ate anything, my bf ate like a champ of course, but agreed my eggs were hard, my waffle was dark and the place was nasty. 12/26/23 (update) Breakfast THUMBS DOWN Not sure what was going on that day or if this that's just how they operate but definitely not good for business. We walked in there was no greeting at all, we stood there for awhile without any acknowledgement of standing here whatsoever, then finally sat at a table that had not been cleaned , it was sticky, as well as the menu's, I had to clean it off myself, another customer had to clean his countertop as well, our server didnt seem to welcoming, she spoke as if she didnt want to speak or was irritated , she wasnt attetive to what we needed, overall the experience fell really short just a conformation why we hadn't been there in a while, I dont like posting unpleasant reviews but its necessary for the patrons visiting your establishment to have a great experience being their the reasons your there, reviews are also important to let owners, franchisees, corporations etc. analyze what their doing well and what areas needs improvement. Since 2020 a lot of things have changed and we have all had to adjust one way or the other but whennit comes to the longevity of any business one thing shouldn't change is how you treat...
