Juicy Seafood — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

Horrible experience here. There was hair in my food!! When i bit into my lobster i was in great disgust when hair started pulling out of my food. I almost puked!! And everyone at the table witnessed what happened. The worker upfront tried to disregard the situation by claiming that none of the cooks have hair. And she was trying to hint that it might’ve been mines. However the color and length of the hair was nothing similar to mines, and my personal hair was in a ponytail the entire time. The server got my dish remade, however I wanted a discount on the second plate for the disgusting experience from the first time, which had quite literally ruined my appetite. When i spoke with the lady with the blonde hair upfront, she mentioned how I was inconveniencing their company by already getting the first dish that HAD HAIR IN IT for “free” and that she’s not gonna “double discount” on the second dish. After further explaining the inconvenience of this situation she offered a 10% discount. To that i responded that I’m military, i automatically get 10% off so she gave an extra 10% off which totaled to 20% discount. After i ate my corrected dish. When it was time to pay she pettily charged me a 18% “gratuity fee” because i ate with a table of 6. And when i explained how that was not right considering the situation. She did not care. The seafood was just average and borderline salty but the overall service from the staff was down right atrocious!! I placed an order an hour and 45 minutes before closing, and just sensed an overall attitude the entire time I was communicating my order. Before the young woman got off the phone, and immediately after I finish, saying, the last part of my order, her exact words were "come get your food, we about to close"!! I don't even think that she was finished ringing the order in before she blurted that out, and I was instantly taken back by the unprovoked terrible attitude. Upon arriving, there was a discrepancy with the pricing and was much higher than initially quoted, so we asked for clarification as to the difference in the price just to get a clear understanding and already treading lightly because the initial contact. It was a gentleman assisting us when a young woman came over and shoot him away with her hand, print it off the receipt and slammed it on the counter and said there's the receipt you can look at it yourself.. no I can see if we had an attitude with her from the start, but we were literally just coming to pick up our order after work, and this is what we received on the phone and then walked into. Our server gave us an awful experience. He isn’t very welcoming. No hello how are you guys. We ordered a bad to share and he very rudely made a face and said “that’s not going to be enough” maybe making a nice suggestion would have been different but he was so rude. We asked for an extra side of corn and steamed rice. As we got our food we explained we were missing a side of corn, as we also had to remind him about our side of steamed rice. He again very rudely said “well I gave you extra potatoes” he then proceeded to ask for the potatoes back, and we had to remove them from on our food we had already started eating. Which fine, very odd I guess but fine. We were never asked if we needed anything else or got refills on our drinks. Lastly we had explained at the beginning it was going to be 2 checks. My boyfriend and I went up to pay our check while the others were still at the table. He very rudely insinuated no one was going to pay the other check.
