Whitt's Barbecue — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

I would have given 5 stars but when I ordered via the window yesterday .... and since the distance I travel is nearly 40 miles, I stopped in their parking lot and readjusted all the containers to make certain nothing would bounce around nor fall over. As I reached inside one of the paper bags, the baked beans container lid was not on properly and my hand ended up with sauce all over it. I had to readjust the lid and as I took it out of the paper bag, my entire console, including the car shift, got covered in the bean "juice".

I was NOT happy as I just spent big bucks having my vehicle detailed the day prior.

Now, I have been purchasing from WHITTS for quite some time and ALWAYS get the same items and quantity.. To the tune of 40 bucks.

I DIDN'T NEED THAT TO HAPPEN! NOT PLEASED ABOUT THAT AT ALL.

THE BBQ is great. No question.

But yesterday was a fiasco and I was only thankful I had industrial strength paper towels in the back...

When I am wanting or craving BBQ, this is the only place that I will go to. I normally get a loaded bake potato with everything on it or I will occassionally get their loaded nachos. Every time I go to this restaurant, I always get friendly service, everyone there is so nice and welcoming. After I placed my order, I really dont have to wait long at all for the food to be ready, maybe 5 minutes tops but no more than 10 minutes. This place is pretty good about making sure that your order is ready shortly after you placed it. They are also up front with you if they are out of a food item that you may be wanting at the...

I've had whitts bbq many a times. I was really looking forward to eating one of their pulled pork sandwiches today. Bad idea, why, you ask? I took a bite into my sandwich and, to my surprise, had a huge long hair mixed in with the pulled pork. GROSS!! made me automatically sick. I was already home when this happened, so I had to throw my food away. AGAIN GROSS!! I would hope that someone from whitts responds to my review and maybe even give me back my money $$ for this terrible incident. I do things happen, but when you're hungry, it really sucks. I'd been working all morning and was ready for lunch smh. A great...
