I just had the WORST experience ever at the NASA Pkwy Chick-fil-a location. Everything started off great at first. No wait in the drive thru and was able to pull up to the order speaker. Guy was marginally friendly. Okay, no big deal. I ordered a Spicy Chicken Meal with a Large Sweet Tea and some Grilled Nuggets. He tells me my total and I reply with a Thank You and nothing. Huh? In the history of ever, no one has ever not said "My Pleasure" back when I said Thank You. I know this is trivial, but it's the small things that add up to make a big deal. Just wait and see. Then I pull up and notice that there are five cars in front of me. Again, no big deal. However, 6-8 minutes later, that first car at the window still hasn't moved. I waited about 8-10 minutes in line altogether. While sitting in line, I realized that I hope he didn't charge me for a Large Fry. He did not ask when I was ordering. They ALWAYS ask if I want the Fry Medium because I order a Large drink AND they did not ask me what condiments I would like. After I finally get to the window, the girl there hands me my Tea and I pay. I wait for a moment and she hands me back my card and the bag of food, trying to send me on my way. She did not ask if I needed condiments. I politely told her what I needed. She was also marginally friendly. I tell her Thank You and she tells me Have a Good Night, with little enthusiasm. I drive off completely and utterly....disappointed. I was a little dumbfounded. I honestly felt like I went through a McDonald's drive-thru. What a letdown, and I have been eating at this restaurant for years. First very negative experience and it gets worse. I pull up to my house and walk inside and taste the Sweet Tea. It is RANCID, OLD TEA. Are you kidding me?! I sometimes get sweet tea that isn't sweet enough or it's a little watered down, that is forgivable. This was NOT. It tasted as if it was sitting there for HOURS. Not fresh AT ALL. By this time, I am FURIOUS. What could happen next? I start taking everything out of the bag. I look at the receipt and noticed they overcharged me by ringing me up for a Deluxe Sandwich and a Large Fry. I did NOT order that. Next, I open the box and look at the sandwich inside. The Chicken is visibly old, very old. You can tell it's been sitting out for a long time, not fresh of course, and it was COLD to the touch at that, and hard, and the cheese was not melted and cold as well. Buns were lazily buttered and are cold as well. Fries are old, hard, and cold as well, no surprise there. What an EPIC disaster. I was so DEEPLY disappointed, I threw the entire meal in the garbage, because that's what it was. I expect nothing less than a full REFUND and a FREE MEAL for this subpar customer service experience and dismal food quality. I will not be visiting this location in the near future. However, I would like to give big props and kudos to the El Dorado location in Webster, TX. Only great...
Read moreSorry but had to change my review. Second time I’ve had bad service at this Chick-fil-A, but this time was very uncalled for. As Chick-fil-A can obviously see I go to Chick-fil-A every day except for sundays because they’re closed. And I go to Chick-fil-A all over Texas because I travel for work. . I’m a signature member and have been for over five years. I don’t think I’ve ever had to do a bad review on Chick-fil-A like this. To be honest, Chick-fil-A don’t hardly ever mess up an order most of them ITo be honest, Chick-fil-A don’t hardly ever mess up a order most of them I go to for years. But the way Edgar treated me was not professional at all. I have tattoos and a missing tooth so people judge. And I guarantee he wouldn’t have treated me like that if I Didn’t look like somebody that wouldn’t do a review or he could just treat how he feels like. I ordered four chicken biscuit meals like I have been every morning. I get the bags and instead of chicken biscuits it’s for chicken mini biscuit meals. And I Proceed to tell him my order is wrong. He grabs a bag very rudely looks at the ticket and says no you ordered for chicken biscuits. I said yes that’s what I ordered. He said well that’s what it says. I said no that’s not what I got. He very rudely says that’s what it says on the ticket. And I very rudely said back, but that’s not what is in the bag. So he finally looks in the bag and sees that it’s not the right order. He Did not apologize or anything instead he ignored me and told the lady inside that the order was wrong and would not even look at me. Yes, I was upset at this point, but I feel like it was justified. When I finally got my order, he did not say he was sorry or anything. He did not say a word to me. At this point you could tell he was mad at me for having to point out that my order was wrong. Chick-fil-A normally has really good customer service and do not let people work out the window that act like this. He’s very immature and not what I would expect from a Chick-fil-a Employee. I’m sure I’m not the only person that this has happened to or is not pleased with his service. Sorry, I meant to do this other morning when this happened but just got busy. This was either of the 9th or the 10th. I think it was on the 10th. Like I said, I go every day so they kind of run together. If This Chick-fil-Awasn’t on the way to work. I wouldn’t even go to this Chick-fil-A ever again because of this employee and the way I was treated. Like I said been going for years I don’t think I’ve ever done a review for Chick-fil-A like this, but the store definitely needs to work on their customer service. I should not have to point out that my order is wrong more...
Read moreUPDATE: I have received a response from management. They were very prompt in contacting me to find out what happened during my visit. They have offered to replace the catering order, although the food itself wasn’t the issue. Waiting to hear back on when they plan to do so.. as I plan to do a lunch for my girls Mother’s Day out church academy teachers.
Let me just say, wow. I have never experienced anything but great, friendly service at every Chick-fil-A I've ever visited. I get catering 4x a year and frequently visit this location in our golf cart, since we live in Nassau bay.
As soon as I walked inside, I hear (who I later find out is the manager) the lady looking on the screen yelling “we need to move it, if we don't move vehicles, we don't make money". I was in complete shock. Not something that needs to be yelled at to employees.
I go up and state I'm here to pick up my catering order, it should be ready. My order time was 1230 (had to wait 20 min for it to be ready, ridiculous, it was already paid for. I stated in notes I wanted it ready at 1230, since party started at 1.) since it wasn't ready I asked the young lady at the counter to check to see how long it would take.. she walked over to the manager to ask and she shoved a bag and drink in her face, completely disregarding her question and told her to go deliver the bags to the table.. when she returns, she tried to ask again but the "manager" ignored her. Never even looking up. So I ask the young lady to try to see if it was ready again.. so she walked back up to the "manager" only for her to respond "I'm busy, I know it's up there" and points to the screen. At this point I'm disappointed and disgusted. If I had a backup plan, I would have canceled my 320 nugget order.
I asked an employee to tell the “manager” I wanted to speak to her. She turns around and I said “ are you the manager? This young lady has asked you a question 3x and you completely dismissed her without even looking up at her”.
She responded “ma’am I know, this and does a hand circle movement at the screen above her is important”
I responded with “your employee should be the most important thing, without her you won’t be making any money”
The manager turned around and ignored me. She needs training. Disgusting. I feel she is not in anyway management quality. She does not know how to treat customers let alone lead of team of employees. She is belittling them without giving them any direction on...
