Salata — Restaurant in Nassau Bay

If I could give this location 0 stars I would. I would have never been so offended. My husband and two girls went to the restaurant at lunch. It was our first time there. We ordered two kids meals and two salads. The lady at the front of the line kept asking our children what vegetables they wanted in their kids meals. When we got to the meat choice, they told us the kids couldn’t get a meat because they already picked too many vegetables or we had to pay $3 more per meal. We were asked to pick the vegetables and not told that we were only to pick 4. We told them we wanted them to remove a vegetable and they refused. We told the manager we were not told and instead of correcting the situation, the manager told me since I was so cheap” he would remove the cost of the meat! I was shocked and could not believe a manager would call a customer cheap, particularly after they obviously had a worker who was in adequately trained. We left without any of our meals as I will not monetarily support an establishment with such poor service. The cheap manager can eat the cost of those meals. We will not be visiting this establishment again and I will be telling everyone I know about their poor...

I took my family for lunch on a Saturday; walked in around 11:30 am. I ordered the regular salad bowl. When I asked the guy at the register for a small bowl to share my salad with my 6 year old son, he gave me a To Go plastic container. I asked him for a bowl and he said "we are not allowed to give out bowls." I was floored. This is not buffet. My wife and I spent $35 on salad, soup and drinks, the least they can do is give us a bowl. I insisted that I won't have my son eat out of a To Go container at a restaurant. The guy would not budge. Then their Coke Zero had no syrup. I asked the same guy to fix it; eventually he did, but did not have the courtesy of letting us know it was ready. There were only 5 occupied tables at the time. I emailed their manager immediately. I received a call from the owner who insisted I will hear from the manager before the weekend is over. It has been 2 weeks now. I never heard from them. Salata is one of my favorite places to eat at but After today's experience I feel like this may have changed my mind. I have NEVER experienced this and I hope to never experience this ever again at any place I chose to eat at. First I ordered a large salad and got the portion of a small salad. My salad container was mostly empty It was literally the portion of a small but most important!! as I was sitting at my table eating I noticed a roach walk right across the wall right next to me!!! I felt so disgusted that I had eaten at this location. Apparently I am not the first person that has experienced this and from the look of it it seems like this issue obviously has not been resolved. This place will continue to be infested with ROACHES And obviously don't care about their customers and their health!!! This is very unsanitary and unacceptable. I would not doubt these roaches have been in and out of food. I am very very disgusted. PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE!! Unless you like roaches...
