Heard all the hype from advertising about this place before it opened and needless to say they should have prepared a little better before opening. Went on Tuesday 5-17-2016 and I was a little excited to try this place. Walked in to see that the employees all looked a little confused. Every table was dirty and didn't even get greeted when I walked up to the pizza counter to order with my parents. Looked at the menu they had posted and it looked pretty cool. Realized that this place is kinda set up like Subway. You tell them what you want and they build it on an assembly line and take it to the oven. No problem sounds pretty cool and looked ok. I ordered a Margherita 10inch with a Caprese Salad and my parents both ordered a 10inc pizza as well with 3 small drinks. After paying and getting our drink cups we realized the machine was out of ice. After asking for 15 min about the ice I was finally told it was out. That was that. Pizza's were finished and they served us the 10 inch pizza on a paper plate and proceeded to hand my mother (71) hers piping hot on a single paper plate that was smaller than the pizza. Realizing that she was about to get burned I took it from her and brought it to the dirty table. I then proceeded to get the other two pizza's as well only to see the abundance of dirty serving plates on top of the trash can that hadn't been washed for customers to have their pizza on. Opened the salad to find out that it was put together like a chopped salad from subway and had no dressing (balsamic. olive oil, etc). Didn't realize it came in packages that they had to go to the back and get. Pizza was average at best and since the pizza was so hot it began to stick to the paper plates and pieces of the paper plates were becoming part of the crust. Talking to a few other customers near us they were not impressed either. This place needs to tighten the ship up if they are going to stay in business. Good luck but I won't be back for sure and will definitely let others know it average pizza and at...
Read moreI response to your e-mail today Mr. John F owner “Subject: RE: Message from Richard W. for 1000 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria “Our pies are rotated every hour if not used, most stretched pies usually last no more than 15 minutes between stretching and use. We use the finest cheeses money can buy, tepo 00 type flour and fresh meats and veggies, if you chose our build your own pie option some toppings may not taste as delectable as others, this could be a result of unfortunate topping selection, if you would like to give us another shot we would be happy to send you few free pizza cards for you to give us the chance to give you the five-star experience you deserve!” I OFFER THIS RESPONSE The fact is simple when I drove by and saw 1.000-degree Pizzeria, I could not resist and I've tried to truly like your pizza, but I can't. It's too expensive for a pizza that's not great or even good nor to get a free coupon, the fact is that for $9.81 I got a 10-inch pizza with six slices and six pieces of pepperoni that tastes a little pasty, gummy and the cheese wasn't completely melted and was hardly cooked through, my pizza was definitely not 1000 degrees and was told the crust were made the evening before and not at all worth the price that I had paid for. This chain will ultimately fail because of bad execution, and good riddance--pizza is the best simple food and needs to be made by those that love pizza and enjoy the labor of making and serving it to others. I'm glad that I tried because I love pizza, this will be a first and last for me. In summary all I can say is I'm convinced the restaurant chain is a mere gimmick for a franchise pizzeria. For the price of a 10-inch pizza I expected a classic brick oven pizza but instead it's just like a mass produced pizza you can buy in the frozen section of your grocery store at...
Read moreAs others have noted, this is like a Subway for pizzas. It is a make your own design, similar to many of the newer fast casual places that are one step above the traditional fast food venues. Better ingredients, fresher preparation, higher cost. And because it is not a sit down be served by a waiter kind of place you will not have to tip, which is something I like. You go through the line, choose your sauce, your cheeses, your meats and your vegetables before it goes into a super hot oven. The pizza is good enough. So-so crust, no better than a Domino's. Sauce is good. Ingredients are very good quality. A 14" with sauce, fresh mozarella, shredded mozarella, crumbled meatballs, onions, olives, bell peppers, mushrooms cost me about $18 so that would be about $5-7 more than a comparable fast food pizza. Very very friendly staff. And the guy manning the oven knew the importance of keeping it clean of burned semolina, etc. He was using a straw pizza broom on the surface before mine went into the oven. That's a very positive thing. I'm not sure if I will need to come back due to the cost, but it was...
