Read moreI had high hopes for this place... sad to say it was a disappointment. we went for brunch on a Thursday. I ordered choco-mint iced coffee. Waitress gave me chocolate milk. She brought me the cup half full with some whipped cream. It did not look like a coffee. I still took a sip and then asked the waitress if it had coffee. She said no, took the cup, brought it back and said "here I added some coffee". I, trying not to be rude, took another sip and then asked if it had mint. She just syared at me and I told her again "I ordered the choco-mint.... it's supposed to be an iced coffee, no?" She still just started at me so I pointed it out on the menu , she looked at it, took the cup and then brought the same cup back. She added mint syrup. So basically it was a small cup of chocolate milk with mint syrup. As a former barista and café manager in the marina district, this was all a no. My friend also ordered an iced coffee which was flavorless. The food was ok....... I ordered an omelet that came with steak and salsa. I don't know how to describe it other than salsa del pato straight from the can has more flavor. Sad to say we will never be going back. If the owner reads these: please properly train your staff on how to make coffee drinks and change the ingredients in your food. Quality quantity. It's better to have a smaller menu but with good quality...
Never will I return. Our server was all over the place. Took her 20 minutes to take our full order because she kept leaving us to pick up her tips from random tables and when she would come back she would be super confused. We asked for chips from 2 different servers and neither of them brought them. Just to tell us 20 minutes later that they where out. Paid $50 for 6 drinks that where absolutely garbage. Did not drink them because of how bad and bland they were. We ended up leaving because our food took longer then a hour and still never showed up. Everyone around us (with the same amount of people) where getting food and we where just waiting around. Atmosphere was not it service most definitely not it and drinks absolutely not. Food I can’t say cause we never got the opportunity to try it. As someone who works in the food industry and is also a manager if I see that beverages are left full untouched and we never showed up with your food I would at least apologize and maybe even offer to just pay half of the drinks. I definitely do not...
Read moreThe rating was based on the overall experience… the wait time to get sat was about 20 minutes, they were pretty busy when we came here 10:10 am… from the time we were sat to the time we got our food was a little over 50 minutes … I ordered an orange juice 5/5, code de la Hoya 5/5 (not sure why it was cold, but the flavor was good). I ordered the patron plate, chilaquiles 5/5, tamal de elote with sauce 4/5 ( would give it a 5/5 without the sauce), churro French toast 3/5 average, could not taste the churro flavor…chorizo and potatoes burrito 3/5 average … what advice would I give when coming to this restaurant, know that you might have to wait a good amount of time before they take your food order, groups of people that got sat after you might get their order taken before you and get the food before you as well ( three parties that came after my wife and I, got their order taken before we ordered… what plate would I recommend?, chipotle chilaquiles, only because I don’t like chipotle, but did like the chipotle chilaquiles...
