Om Goodness Gracious! I am definitely not a deli fan, but my husband is. He heard about this hole in the wall place and he said, "Let's go" ... so then the whole Familia went. Wow. I'm only a fan of this place now! Is this what a sandwich is supposed to taste like? Wow. My favorite when I do get a sandwich is the Tuna salad sandwich with avocado. When I brought it home, I heated it up. YES!!!!! And boy, was it d bomb!! 💣 😋😋😋 It's a big manwich sandwich so I could only eat half. Everyone's sandwich was equally delicious! If you're ever in the area. It has a small market and liquor store with the deli in the back. Apparently, everyone orders here because it lacked for no lull time with customers. Their menu has a wide selection. Hope u take the extra time and get one of these fresh Boar sandwiches and skip the burger. It's more healthy by far! The only table to eat is outside. So, people typically take it to go.

I’ve been there before to pick up some sports drinks, etc. My first sandwich was the BLT and avocado. WOW!!! It was amazing and they don’t hold back on anything. The next day I decided to go back. This time I got the breakfast sandwich on sourdough. That was incredible!!! It was so big that I could only eat half and saved the rest for later. Everything they have is fresh and they only use Boarhead meats. If you’re ever around this place, I highly recommend it. Even if you have to drive 20-30 minutes it’s worth it. I only remembered to take pics of the BLT. You’ll see what I mean when I say it’s good and worth it.

This place has been here almost a hundred years. I know because the gent behind the corner chatted us up while waiting for our order, and showed us the photographs from the 30's of ol' Ted Cozine's shop. If you want that good good Boar's Head meat with thick sliced bread, get an "Oh So Gouda" or a "Big Gun"! What a jewel.

Drove by Cozine's Liqour & Deli and saw a sign for breakfast and a Reuben sandwich. I haven't had a decent Reuben since Scoops Ice Cream shop in Mequite, Nevada. Still the best until today. I have tried many sandwich places, only for a Reuben, and Cozine's is definitely my #1 in San Diego County by far. They have a variety of sandwiches, all made with BOARSHEAD meat. The deli counter women are super nice and ready to make the best sandwich to satisfy your hunger. I'll definitely go back when I'm ready for another delicious sandwich 😋 I usually don't share that I tip, which I do, and after eating half of the sandwich, I went back in to tip double. Yep.
