I went back to Lisa’s today to buy some food and I was disappointed to know how the staff there were not focused. They were talking (chismis) while getting the orders. I bought small squid adobo, medium sinigang na baboy and small dinakdakan and the lady charged me so much. So I went back and show the receipt and all the food I bought. She was insisting I bought beef.( the beef was probably $9) I said I didn’t. She still charged me even though the containers were small. She gave back a dollar something. I will not go back here anymore. She charged too much food. I don’t know her name but I know her face. I thought I was going to save money by buying food from them but NO. The sinigang was too much meat and 1 small slice of radish. And not much soup and vegetables .The container was not even full. There is a charge if you use debit card. Tita’s kitchenette is the best. They give more food in a container that’s why they...

I wouldve given 5 star but their customer service sucks so bad. Star was for the food bc I admit their food is really good except sometimes the taste is different on a different day and time .I used to like them before but some server left, and now left with rude server. Whenever I come here, I feel like I’m always being ask to hurry and sounds like yelling. Then one time, I ordered two combo but sinigang soup for both combo. The server put it in one big bowl and I corrected her separate it into small bowl instead. She didn’t ask me If I want it in a big bowl. I didn’t say anything either, bc that’s what they usually do, two different combos with two different small bowl of soup. She blames me instead for not saying anything. I was like, how could she have the audacity to blame me when I didn’t say any special order to put them in one big bowl. Anyway, they show you the most horrible and tiring face expression and...

I was so exited because I wanted to eat pancit so bad. I get there and the cashier was supper rude. I’m Mexican and I thought she was just having a bad day but she was just really rude to me and my husband. More people came in and she was all of the sudden nice. Was it because of my race that’s very sad that this place would treat you like that for that reason. I asked if they had an item and she said no really upset and mean. I saw behind her that she indeed have them. I asked again and she said rudely with attitude just wait 5 minutes. I never like leaving reviews but this time I am really upset that a place can treat you like that. The receipt says the cashiers name is Elaine, but she told me another name didn’t really understand. Hopefully owner lets her know that nobody will come back to a place where service is so bad. So disappointing. I would leave no stars...

5 stars is not enough!!! Delicious food, great customer service, and you can't beat the price and the quality. I know Plaza Blvd. is filled with Filipino food options but I would definitely recommend this place. You won't be disappointed. Best Filipino food you'll find in San Diego. Lisa's serves food that's authentic, flavorful, and tastes just like the real deal, homemade dishes my grandma cooks. The staff are also very friendly and attentive. You MUST try their sisig, it's the best I've had in San Diego. The sinagang too, the sabaw has the perfect amount of flavor. Their chicken adobo, bistek and lumpia are our party must-haves. We always order their party trays for all the family gatherings. It makes sense why there's always a line during lunch hours.
