I went on a Tuesday 7/13and bought a Baby Trend snap and go car seat caddy stroller for $39.99 (which is only being sold for $49.43 at retail stores, brand new). I figured that’s a pretty good price especially since I’m helping a private business. When I got there, I asked how it closes. The handle was stuck so they tried to fix it with WD-40 which I found odd because this should of been checked/expected before they put it on the floor. When I got home, I inspected it even more and realized it’s a very old brand. The new brand and the brands even later than today have 2 straps in the middle to hold the car seat, this one didn’t and looked really old and beat up. $39.99 was definitely not worth the price. I was able to get a somewhat newer brand, still second hand for only $20. So I decided to come back to this store and resell it back knowing I’m Not going to get all my $ that I paid it for. The employee asked what I’m expecting and I asked her their policy. She said “usually half of what Walmart is selling it for brand new” and I mentioned that retail stores including Walmart is selling it for $49.43. So based off what she said I then expected at least $20-25. She was texting her manager and she asked me again what I’m expecting. Due to her asking me again, I decided then maybe $30. Then she comes back and gives me four different numbers, not really explaining it well and said “we can do $11 cash, $13 trade in value today, $15 towards any product that doesn’t have a yellow dot and $19 in clothing” The way she explained it, I took it like that’s the trade and I would get all that also a bit confused because she kept asking what I was expecting back and the fact they go by half of what Walmart sells it for. So I decided in my Mind let me do the $13 trade in value and get the $11 now and get the rest later. When I was ready, she then explained it in better detail that I get to choose ONLY 1 of the 4 options. I was shocked!!! How do you ask me what I’m expecting and then you already have what you’re going to offer me which is nothing close to what you offered me or said your resale policy was!!! So I decided to get the $13 trade value since my daughter wanted something in the store. She picked 2 items that ended up being $14.07 so I asked if we can just have a clean trade since it was only $1.07 difference and I was already getting cheated especially when I never used the item and bought it directly from them and i haven’t even had my baby yet! She had to ask her manager and basically said no. The whole process was horrible. They have no clear policy and you feel and get cheated. worst place to buy for your kids!! GO TO BABY GO ROUND. I am not a fan of Mothers N Kids place. I have visited this place about 3 times both locations and they are OVERPRICED! the last purchase that i made there was a new baby bullet 6 pk storage container, come to find out that i could have gotten it at babies r us for about a dollar more! you would think that you would be getting a better deal than that at this place. HORRIBLE customer service. I had a hard time redeeming the coupon that I had, it said $5 off your purchase of $25 or more and I was told that i had to spend $30 which made no sense, so I asked to speak to the manager to let them know that they had false advertisement on their email coupon. After showing them the email from where the coupon came from they finally said that they would honor it but not without trying to fight it. I go above any beyond to warn all my friends about this place and direct them to BABY GO ROUND. I go there at least once a week and everyone is friendly there, they have GREAT prices and never give you a hard time when you are redeeming...

If you can buy it new, sometimes it is worth it to do so! I bought a double jogger stroller for my twins 2 days ago, and it doesn’t even work properly. Tried to do a light jog with it today, and it starts shaking like crazy. Tried calling the store and couldn’t get through to anyone, so I ended up having to drive over there. The woman at the store (the same woman who sold it to me) pretty much was like I don’t know what to tell you. She said that I could try to YouTube ways to fix it. What?!?! That is absolutely ridiculous! Now my husband is going to come home in a couple weeks from being out to sea, and be upset that I wasted money on this. I can hear him saying "I told you so"! I will definitely be posting about this in my Military Wives Group! NEVER AGAIN!!!
