I have been to this Mana 3 times. The first two times were pleasant, service was good, food was great, and we were sat on a table with chairs. Overall a great experience. My most recent visit was not so great. We came during the dinner rush and waited about 1 hour to be seated (18 parties ahead of us). We were seated in a booth where there was no leg room for my side, my knees were up against it for the duration of my visit. The ventilation system takes up just about all the space and it was very uncomfortable sitting there. They should redo those booths or not sit 3 large men there. The meats are great and I have no complaints on that. Brisket was good, bulgogi was good, pork belly was good (thick cut), the galbi was delicious, and the jumulleok was my favorite of the night (picture attached). The corn cheese comes with green peppers and we had asked the server to for just corn and cheese, but it seemed that he ignored our request and brought out the regular corn cheese, our table was very upset about that. The steamed egg had some spots that tasted burnt and awful, I couldn't finish it due to the bad taste. The service was not the best, it just seemed like they were short staffed and wait times were long between our server coming back to check up on us. I like that it is in the Bonita Mall, so you can walk around while you wait for your table. I also like that they have a robot bring you your meats. I would definitely visit again and give them another try, the staff is mostly teenagers so I can't blame them for what appeared to be a poorly organized...
Read moreThis was the worst Manna BBQ experience we've ever had! We went with a party of 7 and had been quoted a 19-36 minuite wait only to wait an hour and a half to be seated. They then only set up our table for 6 people and we had to wait to hail a server to get another chair and utensils. Of which when we finally got situated 15 minuites into our meal, we then had to wait an ETERNITY to place another order. We kept pressing our call button to no avail, and we're being avoided by our server and other staff even after making direct eye contact and gesturing to them! We needed a GRILL CHANGE for a grill that NEVER EVEN HAD FOOD on it cause of how long we were waiting! Even when we placed orders they staff got them wrong, and we couldn't even say anything because they sent their robot to deliever the meats instead of an actual person so we'd have to repeat the same 20 minute cycle over and over trying to get service. We were seated at 7:30pm, and finally left at 9:30pm when they closed, not because we were lingering but because we couldn't get any service. We hit the time limit before we could even get our orders in!! We also noticed that the SMALLER PARTIES we're getting WAY BETTER SERVICE, and I assume that because our party size was having gratuity automatically added, they felt that they didn't need to be attentive and provide proper service!! This was a terrible experience, and THE WORST LOCATION IN THE COMPANY! Don't bring a big party here or celebrate a special occasion here. The first time i've ever LEFT a KBBQ place HUNGRY. We regret going and...
Read moreManna BBQ offers a delightful blend of modern technology and warm, attentive service, making it an excellent destination for Korean barbecue enthusiasts. As a first-time guest, I was pleasantly surprised by how seamlessly the restaurant integrated the traditional all-you-can-eat dining experience with innovative touches like their food-delivery robot. Watching the robot deliver dishes added a fun and futuristic element to the meal, elevating the overall experience.
Our server, Monica, and her team provided exceptional service throughout our visit. Monica checked in periodically to ensure everything was to our liking, while one of her team members efficiently and carefully handled grill changes. This combination of attentive human service and the convenience of technology created a balanced and enjoyable dining atmosphere.
The food, however, was the true highlight of the evening. The selection of fresh, high-quality meats and sides offered something for everyone in our group. The marinated beef bulgogi and pork belly were personal favorites, bursting with flavor when cooked to perfection at our table. The interactive nature of grilling your own food fosters a communal and engaging dining experience.
