TropiFrutasPlus — Restaurant in National City

I walked and i was greeted very nicely by the gentleman as he was working. Placed my order and sat on the little couch they have there. I have lived in national city for 38 years and never seen this place. I usually drive out to spring valley for tostilocos. But saw this popped up on my phone. They were quick, and he repeated my special order ( tostilocos no jaimaca, add pineapple) handed me my order with a big smile and said have a great day. I said you too. ( this was all in spanish). No one rude here at all. Very nice people trying ro keep there doors open in this economy. The tostilocos were not bad. They just seemed to need alittle more chamoy, and flavor. But for under $10, it was good. We usually pay close to $16 out in spring valley, and sometimes that place is a hit and miss. All in all, it was good. Next time i will ask for extra chamoy. Went there to buy a raspado becasce it did not Taste right so we took it back, the lady that works the night shift was very rude, all we wanted is to Exchange for something different she said that there was no returns or refunds, I asked then substitute with some nachos, then she said it would take 6 to 10 minutes to make some nachos as she was making the food she had rubber gloves on and was washing the dishes I did not want to say anything to her so I just excepted the nachos but we threw them away because we were not satisfied with the service and because she didn’t take off her rubber gloves while washing dishes I knew the food would be contaminated dish soap I do not recommend this place to anyone very bad...

Bad customer service. Smoothies are pretty much the only thing good. The food is not that good at all actually. The two ladies in the front saw us at the register. Didn't say anything at all or acknowledge us. It took them about 5 minutes of us standing there before they came up to the register to take our order. They don't know how to speak English here either, or if they did, they didn't speak to me in English, even tho I only spoke English and they would only respond in Spanish. How are you going to run a business, have a menu that's English, but none of your employees know...
