Navarre Park — Attraction in Navarre

I should like this park, but I hated it. Kids loved it though. I felt like I was being abused while watching them have fun. There are about 5 signs yelling at you about what not to do when at the park. Every place you look there is a sign telling you what not to do. I started feeling paranoid. Anyway, there is a hidden fishing area and pond here. The best part about the park was the little female Muscovy duck who walked right up to me while I ate an apple. I really wanted to feed her but then I saw a sign yelling at me for thinking about feeding the duck. There is little shade for the prisoners, err, I mean parents while they watch kids play. Also, people were not very friendly but maybe that is just the area. Also, my view was of the main road into Navarre. There was so much traffic that I contemplated moving to Alaska when my kids grow up. Also I had to watch an obese police lady chase down a boy...

The park is located right off the highway, but it has parking between the park and the highway, so as a parent, it doesn't feel unsafe. There is a nice beach front, although it's not a proper beach with space to lay out, it is nice for waking along. There are plenty of benches to relax and enjoy the view, including ones away from the playground areas if you don't want to be around children. There are a number of gazebos where you can eat or use tables and they usually have space free. The park and playground are in good condition. It's well worth a visit if you'd like to spend some...

The park is nice, you can’t beat the great views of the water and Navarre beach skyline. Its new, a giant splash pad for the younger kids compared to the older one. The down side is there is not much for the kids that are a little older or teens, there is no basketball court any more. Several of the areas are washing out around landscaping and the metal fence causing some safety hazards that they need to fix, but honestly shouldn’t have to fix. They spent 3million dollars and it’s only been open a couple months.

The views make this a 5 star for me other wise it would...
