I can’t say enough about this place. My husband and I were driving through Navasota on a road trip and saw Martin standing out front in his ice cream hat and apron and my husband slammed on the brakes. We knew this place would be epic. And it WAS! Martin was a joy and we talked to him for a long time about how he’s been an ice cream man for almost 50 years. He absolutely loves his job and it shows. You can’t find places like this anymore. While living in New York, he was a Good Humor ice cream man, but now that he’s in Texas he of course sells the best- BLUE BELL! He’s got like 50 flavors and the best sundaes and milkshakes too. We’ve now been able to bring our kids and they truly believe Mr Martin hung the moon ❤️ we live almost an hour away but want Martin’s Sweet Shop to be a regular treat for our family. Such a gem of a place, owned by the kindest man!

When visiting Navasota, you have to stop in for a sweet treat. It has so many choices! They have so many blue bell flavors, Italian ice, milk shakes, cones, candy, snacks, sundaes, and so much more! It’s a perfect stop on a hot summer day. I’ve gone with friends and by myself.

I had the orange sherbet. It taste like a creamsicle. Yummy. My husband and 2 children had shakes, 1 strawberry, 1 chocolate, and 1 vanilla. They were delicious. Great for a hot day!
