Holy Family Sick & Relief Society — Restaurant in Nazareth

The good and the bad. This club is very affordable and the banquet rooms have a really nice ambiance. The food was OK, nothing special, but pretty good for the price per person. Bar drinks very cheap. However, at our function, included in the per person price was several appetizers, a choice of two dinner entrees and a choice of sides. We also paid extra to have additional appetizers for our guests. When we got to the hall with all of our guests, the only thing that was put out for us was the appetizers we paid for additionally. The appetizers that were included in the per person fee were not out! We called the person in charge, whom we booked the party through, and she told us that it was a miscommunication and she thought we only wanted the additional appetizers. Why would we not want what was also included in the per person fee? We were told that they would not charge us for the additional appetizers, but they could not put out any other appetizers because they were not prepared. We were quite embarrassed and extremely dissapointed that we did not have the promised vegetable tray, cheese tray, mini-meatballs, etc. that were 'supposed' to be included. This was an important celebration for my family and I couldn't believe this happened. If you do book a party with this club, make sure you go over EVERY detail of the menu. Also, we stayed at the hall for about 4 hours. The bartender stood at the corner of the bar and scowled for the last hour and a half of the party, like he couldn't wait for us to leave and pack up. He stood there with his coat in hand towards the end. I felt very rushed and so did our guests. All in all, it was not a bad party. Went to a funeral memorial and lunch here. Food was plentiful and delicious. Employees were helpful and polite. Had a very nice time. Bathrooms were clean. Ejoyed it very much. Only down sides were most of the tables were high pub style tables which were difficult for kids and some older adults to get up on and sit and all entrances had at least one step which made it difficult to bring a wheelchair in. I came there at 6:00 p.m. and I wanted to eat something and drinking beer. So I am still waiting my food which I ordered 1:30 hours ago. I don’t why is is so long but definitely not recommend this place especially in Friday evening because you only can drinking beer 🍻 without food. Maybe I am wrong but it is my first time there.
