Nazareth Brew Co — Restaurant in Nazareth

Staying overnight in Bethlehem, I google microbreweries for dinner. Nazareth Brew Company had all 5 star reviews so I decided to try it out. My husband and I each ordered the mushroom burger and German lager. The service was very slow. The beer was ok, no complaints or compliments for it. We were not asked how we wanted the burgers cooked (they came medium well- well done and were dry.) No ketchup offered, waiter never checked to see if everything was good or if we needed anything. My husband's side salad finally arrived when he was 2/3 through his burger. With a few tweaks, this could be a great place but, for the price, $16 burger, we were underwhelmed and will not return. This is a great little beer spot that has good food and GREAT beer. I don't know when or how I became a beer connoisseur but this place definitely satisfies my beer palette. Not a huge fan of IPAs but BOTH of their IPAs slap, and their German lager is one of the better lagers I've had around here. My very favorite from here has to be the ESB ale that lives up to the very defined history of ESBs. I can't sing enough praises, and I'm not a guy that just gives out praises often. We had such a nice lunch at Nazareth Brew Co. We started with the pretzel appetizer and wings, the pretzel was huge and amazing. My husband got the stout and he raved about how good it was, not too heavy and delicious. We had the bacon jam burger and crossfire sandwich, both we very good.
