I called in an order for delivery and they asked for my address. I told them I lived down the street and the girl asked me "If you live down the street, why you no pick up then?" So I replied, "because I want delivery!" I have two toddlers that were taking their nap so......you knkow what I don't need to explain. I asked for service and I want it! Lol. We then proceeded to finish ordering and she gave me the total. She almost hung up on me and I said, "would you like to take down my credit card information?" She then asked, "you don't have cash?!" I said no! That was strike 2! She then came to my house an hour later than she told me. When she got there, she handed me the slip to sign for my cc and I asked her if she had a pen. She said, "you no have pen in house?". I went inside, searched for a pen went back downstairs to sign. After she received the slip, she knocked on my door again and said, "you no give tip???" I said nope! She asked why, so i told her that first off, i didn't have cash. Second, the service I received today was the worst I've ever experienced. After 20 minutes of her leaving, they call me back to tell me they gave me the wrong order. Which was false. I received everything I ordered. The girl then proceeds to tell me that she messed up the order and she was on her way back to my house to come pick up the food. I said no you're not. She then insisted. I said no you're not. She said I'm leaving now. Be there in 5 minutes. So i warned her that I would call the police. She never called again. Never going to near...
Read moreMy husband wanted Chinese takeout, but the place we normally get from was closed that particular day of the week, so he decided to Door Dash from China Wok. I was leery, as I am with Chinese restaurants I’ve never eaten at before. Will the food be good or bad, will the broccoli be so large I can’t fit it in my mouth, will the veggies be so raw they’re hard as a rock…? Well, most of the broccoli was in nice sized pieces and was done well that I could chew it. The chicken was okay, though a few pieces were tough like it was an old bird. The taste wasn’t spectacular, but it was okay. My husband had shrimp and broccoli and my son had shrimp lo mein, both said it was okay but nothing to shout about. Then, about a half hour after eating, it began. My husband literally RAN to the bathroom. I had some awful intestinal pain though, thankfully, I didn’t need to run anywhere (yet) to rid myself of any offending substance. Not long after, he was back in the bathroom again with the same urgency. My son had the same issue. So I guess if you want to run the risk of possibly getting some bad shrimp (or whatever was the cause) and make several hasty trips to the bathroom for food that’s just okay, it’s not too bad a...
Read moreThis is, by far, my favorite Chinese restaurant. They always remember to customize my order even when my husband or myself forget to mention it. For example, I was rushing around doing the normal after work errands, decided that due to the time I'd be arriving home that I would pick up dinner from China Wok (It had been 3 months or so since I last ordered) I call in my order as I had done in the past, picked up my food and they said "you forgot to tell us 'no mushrooms' in your vegetable fried rice but we didn't put any." I am so grateful to have a place that is local and takes the time to get to know their customers. Thank you China Wok. You all...
