I ordered cupcakes for my son’s birthday and they were excellent! They were flavorful and the price was very reasonable. I have also tried some of the other sweet treats they offer. Everything has been wonderful! The lemon blueberry muffins are my favorite! It’s so nice to have a bakery in Nelsonville that serves high end food but with an affordable price. I highly recommend Alfonso’s!

Got “The Louie” sandwich with the lunch special, 10/10. The chicken was deliciously tender, with the perfect amount of toppings to complement. The bread was fresh, soft, and delicious. The pasta salad was fantastic and unlike any other pasta salad I’ve had. Highly recommend!

I've had many things from here and I've loved literally all of it! Both their desserts and savory food are amazing and it never disappoints for the price! My personal favorites I'd recommend are the Godfather sandwich, their chocolate chip cookies and bread pudding. Nelsonville is so lucky to have this place.

This is the second time we've tried to come during posted business hours. Noon on a Monday and the doors were locked. Evidently St. Patrick's Day justifies not being open, coping an attitude on the phone, and not even posting a note of closure on the door. (FYI to the rude male employee that answered the phone, the mail is still being delievered today. SPD is not a national holiday.) I even checked their Facebook page to be sure they were open. Incredible pastries and bread! In our large group we sampled the cinnamon bun, scone, a couple of types of croissants, and a loaf of Asiago bread. Everything was amazing!! Fresh and delicious.
