For my birthday this year, my wife decided to get me out of town to celebrate. Ive been wanting to go to Hocking Hills State Park for a few years and so we finally decided to go. We spent the day checking out the park and after a long day we came to Los Mariachis.
Thankfully they let us bring our dog with us and we ate outside on the patio.
To start, the chips and salsa were delicious. The Chile Relleno was amazing. Its the first itme I had one and Im glad I did. I found a new food that I enjoy. They had no problems adding to and changing meals to suit the needs of our children. The Chimichanga was delicious, the fish tacos were on point, the burritos were amazing. Read moreWe went inside the restaurant, found a seat and were greeted by a friendly face who asked us what drinks we wanted. We had several people help us with our order and meals. My boyfriend, daughter and I had a great time at this establishment. I believe our waitress sensed I was stressed out and offered a large margarita when I asked for one and the margaritas are definitely large. The food was delicious. I usually don’t like guacamole but the guacamole here is scrumptious. I helped my boyfriend eat all his food and my daughter ate her entire cheeseburger, which she never does. She usually leaves most of her food on the plate but she actually ate this time. Los Mariachis has great service workers and cooks. Our food came out very quickly and we enjoyed every bite. It’s obvious they care about their jobs and do a great job at them. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening. We left here...
Read moreWe had 8 people in our party, got seated right away, and thought it would be a good experience. We were wrong. We had to ask for salsa with our chips, kinda weird because who eats dry chips. We ordered drinks and our food. Almost everyone's food was burnt. The steak was completely black, charcoal black. One of the girls ordered fajitas and lord that one dish smoked up the entire restaurant. After we received our food, no one came back to check on us, we sat there waiting on our checks cause lord knows we were not taking any of that burnt food back with us. Finally we went to the front to see what was going on, apparently you pay at the front, which was news to us considering no one told us anything. They need some serious server training and maybe a new chef as well. It's definitely the worst experience in a Mexican restaurant...
