Food is nothing to brag about. There is only one worse in nelsonville which is little italys.

The owner is the real problem. Anyone who tries to call in to speak with him to give a complaint has to play cat & mouse with him on the phone. Both myself and friend who had a bad experience there once tried to reach him once. He answered the phone and I simply asked to speak to the manager. He refused to acknowledge who he was, refused to put the "manager" on the phone, and refused to say when and where one could contact the manager. After several phone calls I finally told him WHY I was trying to talk to the manager and he finally admittted he WAS the manager, but by this time I had lost complete faith in this idiots ability to manager anything let alone preparing food that...

We were in town for our daughter's OU graduation and rented a house nearby Nelsonville. Pizza was the best option as we settled in for the weekend on Friday. Online reviews and recommendations from the rental property led us to Mama Renie's Pizza and we decided to order take-out. Our experience from the time the kind, patient person answered the phone until the last bite of the delicious pizza was all great! We were impressed that it was probably Mama Renie cutting the pizza our pie into serving squares at the time of pickup! The crust was delicious, the sauce was just the right amount and the pizza squares were perfect for a party like setting. Food is great. Customer service is horrible. The owner wont be in business for long if he insists on arguing with customers and justifying a delivery 1 hr and 40 min later of cold food. We are simple people who do not complain. Your business will fail in no time by word of mouth and unhappy customers. How wonderful of the owner to be defensive and sarcastic the entire time, while trying to take care of the matter. Little Italy's will always receive our orders from here on out, they take care of their customers and have great food. I will order from a business that values their customers.
