Mazzio’s Pizza & Wings — Restaurant in Neosho

One of the worst restaurants I've been to in a while. I suppose the best place to start is the beginning.

We ordered a kid's pizza. The menu listed it as a one topping pizza. All my daughter wanted was cheese and mushrooms. The waitress came back after taking our order to tell us that she can't put mushroom on the pizza. She mentions that we can either have cheese or mushrooms, not both. This doesn't make any sense to me, but we order a kid's cheese pizza anyway.

Nothing in the restaurant looked clean. We were sat at a table that didn't appear to be wiped off since the last person was sitting there. There were fly spots on all of the light fixtures and the walls had a general appearance of being unclean. While we were waiting for our food, we used the women's restroom. It was in terrible condition. The sink's countertop was ufinished and the way it was constructed let water drip onto the floor.

Our food took a long time to come out to us. Once it did, it came out one plate at a time, each several minutes after the next. The baby's food came out last and took several minutes to get to the table.

The entire time we were there, the phone was constantly ringing, and going unanswered. The noise of the phone carried through the whole restaurant and was very annoying.

Not one single time did I see a manger. Only servers were ever in the front of house. The place seemed chaotic and the staff appeared to lack direction.

Overall, I would not recommend eating here. I likely will...

Since my 2nd birthday party at Mazzios in joplin, I have been a big fan. Sure, Pizza Hut and Papa John's are good but man; Mazzios was better, that is, until recently. Some weeks back, in Neosho, I had ordered a large pizza and and a calizone. Upon getting home and taking my first few bites in to the calizone I realize it was the wrong calizone. Now it's not a big deal, but it was dry, and not well stuffed. Sure I ate it all, but either way I had paid for it. So tonight I thought I would give them another shot. I attempt to order a the Triple play I had seen in an ad in my mailbox. Which was a medium pizza, cheese sticks and, what really caught my eye, the chicken bacon jalapeño popper calizone. On my way to pick it up I get a call saying they were all out of calizones. I though whatever pizza and cheese sticks are enough. Sitting in their lobby waiting for my order, they call again to tell me they were out of calizones. All the while thinking whatever the cheesesticks will be great. They finally get my order out. And all it is is the pizza. No cheesesticks. So out of 3 things I'm supposed to get I walk away with 1 thing and still pay more than half the price of the...
