When I first took a bite out of the street tacos, it was “WOW, They should have taken the salt shaker away from the cook!!!” It was saturated in salt! It was good, but for those of us wanting to avoid salt... DON’T GET STREET TACOS! Also, their most spiciest sauce couldn’t even make my nose run!!! Their sauces also have tons of salt in it! The Beef combo plate was actually like a fajita. You have to make your own burritos from the Ingredients given. I bought the beef combination plate and the beef resembled the same texture as beef jerky. If you have a hard time chewing, You might want to avoid the beef! Although the street tacos beef was chopped up so you could actually eat it. Even though the street tacos was loaded with salt, I actually enjoyed that, but I hope it doesn’t raise my blood pressure!
I might try this place again. It was okay. It’s defiantly better than Viva Zapatas (not sure how to spell it) down the street. They used quality Vegetables, and the beef tasted good. My only major problem was with the beef...that it wasn’t tender enough! I had to fight it with my teeth to tear it apart!! I was fearing swallowing it, because I might have Choked on it!
Be prepared, the whole menu is written in Spanish. They do have a few menu items with English words on top of the Spanish ones. They should print out pictures of the meals and post them on the white walls around the inside. I stood there confused for many minutes. After that time, the lady working there tried as best she could to explain the menu items to me. In my mind I thought I was getting a taco, burrito, rice, and beans in a plate... but actually it wasn’t that. So, if you don’t know a lick of Spanish, you’ll be baffled and Confused when you get in there! I was ordering based on the English words on the screen and trying to comprehend the lady selling them. Just a reminder, very very very very few English words on screen, not to mention someone trying to explain the English parts to you that doesn’t know English very well. You’ll be frustrated pretty quickly if your hungry.
When I come back again, owners should create a more spicy (less salty) sauce that would make my nose run! The owner should create a pickup menu with better explanations in English for what you’re ordering. I could only imagine how many English only speaking customers you loose because of this issue!
I’ll most likely try a different plate. I might try a small beef plate to see if you made it more tender and then some other stuff. I’ll try to grab a few more things to see how they are.. I’ll change my review based on my next visit! You’ve got about a month or two before...
Read moreHubs and I stopped off the freeway, not knowing what to expect, but it got good reviews, so we risked it. I'm so glad we did. Despite the bars on the windows, the restaurant seemed safe and inviting. It was spotless. Tables, floor, counters, and even the restroom were super clean. Menu was easy to read and luckily, because my Spanish needs a lot of help, both employees (owners?) spoke perfect English. That is by no means necessary, but it was nice due to my personal failing in Spanish speaking. We both ordered the street tacos. I ordered Pollo and asada. My hubs ordered Pollo, asada and al pastor. They even cooked his onions per special request. Not the traditional way to do a street taco, I know, but they were so accommodating nonetheless. The asada was perfection. It was lean and seasoned perfectly. The portion size was huge for a street taco. There was easily 3-4 oz of meat on each taco. The hot sauce had the perfect heat. It was just enough to season and warm the palate without overpowering the protein. My only complaint was the Pollo was not grilled. It tasted either boiled or baked which is fine but it definitely needed more seasoning which I thought would be accomplished with grilling. It was moist, however, and paired well with the cilantro and hot sauce. I did need to add salsa (red and green were both provided as well as lime) to make it more to my liking. When the food was brought out to us (which was speedy), she offered carrots and radishes. In addition to the asada, these were easily my favorite part of the meal. The carrots were parboiled with the jalepeno and were absolute perfection. I could have made a meal of the carrots. I believe they are enoharias style but not positive. Anyhow, I would eat there again. The birria looked amazing, and the price...

Today I didnt bring a lunch with me to work, so I did as most, went online and researched what was closest to me at my location. I hadnt quite decided what I was in the mood for, but I knew I wanted something good, and something within a decent time frame.
Upon entering was greeted with some of the kindest customer service I have ever received in that neighborhood. The ladies were completely amazing. I opted for one thing and the lady behind the counter asked me what I enjoy, and next thing I know I was getting a plate that had Carne Asada, Pollo, Camaron, Frijoles Y Arroz and a Large Horchata of course. Oh my this was fabulous. I was not expecting it. When the lady said it was her favorite I was like ok sure lets try. But dang, it was made with a whole lot of Love!!!! Everything was packaged very well for me to take it back to my destination.
Interior is huge. There are table and chair arrangements and booths. Televisions adorned the wall and music was playing in the background. Everything was very clean. Staff was courteous and very hospitable.
Would recommend - pricing is reasonable and the portions are very generous. They offer a little bit of everything. So if you have a picky eater with you, there is something for...
