Casa Mia — Restaurant in Nevada

Pros: Pizza was excellent Fries also excellent Baked Ziti very good (portion not burnt)

Cons: Restaurant is rather small only fitting 3 tables. Confoundingly, they use one of the tables for staff to talk on their phone and use their computer. Some patrons only option was to eat outside in 104-degree heat. For the privilege of eating in they charge a 5% fee. A flat fee would seem more equitable, but why am I being charged this at all? There is no free water option. If you want to drink you have to pay. We ordered a Salmon salad, not an inexpensive option at $25, but were treated to a salad in a to-go container pulled from the fridge. The salmon was cold. Bewildering. The Baked Ziti we ordered had burnt parts at the top. The burnt pieces ruined what was otherwise a very good dish. If you burn it, toss it and start over.

The food in general is quite good and that is a great start, but failures in the other areas I mentioned would dissuade me from...

I hate giving a poor review to a OOT local place but consider this a notice for people looking to eat here. We ordered a salad with "creamy pesto dressing" and a personal pie. The total was 51.48 which includes a 25% tip (we like supporting out of town Kosher establishments) The pizza was ok, bit too greasy. The $18.00 salad was horrible; vegetables were raw, and had no taste, chickpeas right out of a can, and the so called pesto dressing was flavorless and had a layer of oil on top... phew!

The service is non existent. We were never checked up on even tho the place had but one other patron, and never thanked for leaving the max tip on the checkout app. When done, I brought our food back in, and although the salad was hardly touched, when I gave it to the owner to toss, she just dumped it out and said nothing.

My Fabulous Pizza Find is Casa Mia-Kosher Dairy for the Win!! Pizza was absolutely delicious. Cheese was really tasty. Notice the difference, because it is absolutely wonderful! *Nom *Nom and so good. You will love the delicious Kosher ingredients as we did.
