Mood- Purple Rice
One of my many favorite indulgences is Purple Rice Yogurt Drinks. I saw this place had just opened up and knew it was a day to entertain some goodies.
Upon entering was quickly greeted. Was asked if this was dine in or take out. I wanted a crepe so decided to make it dine in. We were given the run down about the ingredients and the vendors where the items are sourced. That is always nice to know where the products come from.
Opted for Mango Sago, Domie's Purple Rice Yogurt, and of course that Creme Brulee Crepe with Strawberries. Everything was prepared wonderfully. The owner was in the process of training a new employee and kept apologizing. I felt bad and told her it is all good.
Interior is so neat. There a several table and chair arrangements along with games that you can play while you are indulging in your delights. Everything was very clean. Music was playing in the background.
Would most def recommend - pricing was typical for Boba places. Staff were beyond hospitable and courteous. From the short time I was there several returning patrons came in to get more items and the owner knew them all. I love seeing that especially with the good customer service. With this massive employee shortage everywhere I honestly recommend just having a little patience during these...
Read moretl;dr EXPENSIVE. Ordering system needs A LOT of work because customers are not served in proper order.
We saw this new dessert spot after exiting another establishment nearby. We decided to check it out tonight and WHAT A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! We wasted 30mins of our night with nothing in hand.
When we arrived there was a party who was already served and one party who was in the process of putting in their order. After we arrived, a crowd followed. There were at least 5+ other orders evident from the tickets they had hanging. There were only two workers – a cashier and the person making everything – so I didn’t want to make a fuss after seeing two drink orders being filled for customers who arrived after us. We ordered two crepes and after tax and tip, our total was almost $30! Yes! $30 for crepe!! After seeing the people who, again, came after us be given their order, I was done.
I don’t mind waiting and being patient but when everyone else gets served before us? Nah, never again. This place was way too expensive to get such lackluster customer service. You need to work on your system and ensure that customers are...
Read moreCame in to order a mango pomelo sago on 1/6/24. The drink was good as always, but the service is horrible. The young worker there was watching a chinese show or movie on her phone while taking my order (very unprofessional). Didn't even pause the show or turn off her phone when she saw me. Why are you on your phone at work? I told her theres no soap and paper towels in the bathroom. She stared at me, shrugged her shoulders, and didn't know what to say. Then, her excuse was "I only work here one day a week, I'll let them know." Didn't even apologize. That answer is unacceptable and unprofessional. I can't say let me speak to your manager, because she was the only one in the store. Why isn't she able to stock the bathroom with supplies herself? I walked out with dirty hands after using the bathroom. Good thing I have hand sanitizer in my car. She was just there watching a show on her phone not even busy. That was very unsanitary and unprofessional. I come here frequently and order the same drink. The owners are always very nice to me and provide excellent service, but their teenage staff needs to be...
