First off, I walked in, and two swamp coolers are blasting in the restaurant making it hard to hear and smell kind of musty. When we got to the counter, there was nobody there, and when Raymond finally came up to greet us, at least he offered to turn the cooler off. We told him he didn’t have to, but when we started telling him our order he could barely understand us because of the noise and was frankly being rude about it.
My partner asked for skinny chilli cheese fries, but because of the sound he said “skinny fries” and we just said whatever at that point. Before we paid, though, my partner clarified that she wanted chili cheese fries, and Raymond told us it was too late. We then just gave up and decided to pay, but he didn’t offer the POS to us. He had us reach over the counter to tap our card on the scanner.
My partner decided she still wanted chili though, so we started another order just for a cup of chili, and he charged us almost the same price for a whole order of chili cheese fries. Finally we got the chili, and it has a layer of oil on the top with the texture of blended meat settled on the bottom.

I have tried to give so many chances to this location because I love Fatburger, but every time the experience is worse. Yesterday I placed my order online, and when I got there to pick it up I opened it and I tried it, and I realized that wasn’t my order and the cook got mad at me and started to mocking me and the manager didn’t say anything to him. It seems like the manager is very scared of his employees and he doesn’t care at all about the clients’ experience. I didn’t even ask for a refund. The second burger the cook made it was even worse, it was tasting so bad and I was unable to eat it. He couldn’t even spread the lettuce and the ketchup evenly. I could see he made that burger with a terrible attitude. I left and the manager didn’t even asked me why I didn’t even eat the food. They only had 2 staff for the entire joint! The order taker kept going back and forth from food prep to money handling/register and I'm pretty sure never washed her hands much less donned gloves.
The fountain coke was out so I asked order taker if she could change it and she said yes. When my $26 order of 2 burgers (1 small, 1 medium), 1 regular fry, and 2 medium sodas was finally ready 15min+ later, I asked the cook when the coke would be fixed. The cook said 'oh I don't know, I was off yesterday' and deferred to order taker who finally said 'we are out of coke, sorry'.
The tables were littered with food scraps and the floor was dirty throughout. There was also a custodial bucket full of (soap and water?) just hanging out on the condiments counter.
They need help but I doubt ownership or (nonexistent?) management is going to figure that out as recent experiences have gone from bad to worse...
