They had misleading prices in the store. We ordered Shanghai and on the menu board it was $6.99, but when we went to checkout they said they raised the prices so apparently that was $7.99. If you changed your prices, you should change the prices on the board inside the store so people aren’t being mislead. On top of that they gave us burnt Shanghai lumpia thinking it was edible. They told us that it wasn’t burnt and that it was good to eat. Keep in mind that we are also Filipino so we know how it’s supposed to look and taste and it was BURNT AND GROSS. My mom was trying to get a refund because we didn’t want the burnt lumpia they gave us and instead of being nice they were very rude and argumentative. They were giving us attitude and even speaking behind our backs in Tagalog thinking we couldn’t understand what they were saying. AND they were acting like that in front of all these other customers that were in the store. I honestly don’t know even know how we ended up paying like $52 for 3 people because at that point we were already over it. I 10/10 would NEVER come back to eat here. But that’s not a problem for me because I always hated going here anyways. Today was the first time I actually wanted to eat here and obviously that was a mistake. I really wish giving zero stars was a thing because they don’t deserve a...
Read moreI came in today to eat (this was one of my favorite restaurants) and I stopped by the restroom at first. I wasn't sure if it had multiple stalls inside or just the singular use, but the door was unlocked and slightly ajar so I went in. Upon entering, one of the employees was in the bathroom, gloves on and leaning over the sink, running her hands through her hair. I was shocked and immediately apologized for entering, but the door was slightly open so I assumed it was empty. Also, I was confused as to why the employees were using the patrons bathroom when they have their own bathroom right next to it. She followed me out of the back hall into the restaurant moments later, so I'm going to assume her hands were not washed before she came out. She had taken her gloves off, that she had been wearing in the BATHROOM and messing with her hair with, and was holding them in her hands as she was walking back to the kitchen area.
I was so surprised. I have always loved the food there, but imagining an employee bringing back contaminated gloves and unclean hands to the food preparation/serving area, from the bathroom of all places, got me sick to my stomach. I left immediately and I won't be eating at this location again. The Henderson location is better...
Read moreI was excited about visiting this place! Pre ordered Lumpia ONLINE and came to a fairly empty restaurant! I arrived with 1 person ahead of me! Well, so I thought! Apparently the person ahead of me was a friend of the cashier or it was someone picking up frozen lumpia (they were not a paying customer) The line started to build up and aftet about 10- 15 minutes someone finally acknowledged my presence, however she disappeared and never returned! The next employee (who stood around this whole time) saw the line build up to about 5 people and instead of greeting ME (the first person in line) she looks behind me and greets the person after me And starts to take her order! After people in line told her I was “next” she had a attitude about it (I AM A BLACK MALE) not sure if this was color motivated but I felt very uncomfortable and this didn’t sit right with me... being the only black person there and the only person being skipped in line and disrespected - as a paying customer I will...
