Family Furniture — Local services in Spring Valley

Went to this location and in the beginning all nice and helpful. I was with my daughter and I was buying her a bedroom set as a gift for her new apartment. The lady in the front was helpful in looking for what she wanted but they didn't have the color. I told my daughter that we had seen it in another place but more expensive so that to save time let's just buy it from the other location. The lady heard us and out of no where she says oh wait we do have that color I see it in the system but for some reason it's not in the books. I said okay great when will it be delivered, she told us 3 times it will be delivered Thursday 8-28-25, it was even on the receipt of delivery date. Thursday comes around and my daughter missed work waiting and nothing. My daughter calls and the lady answers saying they do not give a time of arrival, which is understandable no company gives a time just the date. The lady calls back saying that there is no delivery date scheduled for Thursday that it's schedule for Friday or Saturday but they're closed Friday. How are you going to say you're delivering Friday but you're closed? The lady kept saying she never put for Thursday but the receipt clearly said Thursday printed out and also written by her on it. My daughter went personally the lady obviously made changes in the system because out of no where the system had a different date. She surely wasn't expecting my daughter was going with receipt in hand, my daughter had me on speaker and I was hearing everything when she was shown the receipt she backtracked and changed her tone quickly. We asked for a full refund which we got with no hassle because she knew she was in the wrong. I'm guessing they didn't have the color that we requested and she just didn't want to lose her commission and thought that by that date they would find it in another store cheaper and purchase it but didn't happened. They wasted our time with this nonsense, not a trustworthy store I do not recommend this...

BUYER BEWARE!! Ok place. Ladies said; hey, or at least 1 of them did (wehva, know what I wanted from facebook) but continued to watch us like we were gonna do a grab n go. Yes, my husband and I didn't dress our best but who does when they're unboxing after a move...we needed a table so here we are, NEVER judge a book by its cover. The table I wanted/saw on fb was a modest/ regular height 6 seater for $400. GREAT PRICE until my husband spotted a high top with 4 chairs and a bench that is great looking, but for 400 more. No big. He wanted it, we got it and had it delivered. 2 weeks later, my 110 lb 16 y.o. scoots back and we hear a crack from the chair. I don't think thats supposed to happen and after inspecting the other chairs, there is a split on the bench leg and the sticker is peeling from one of the drawers, again, I don't think that's supposed to happen considering it's only been a month. We saw the exact same table/chairs at Bob's discount furniture for 100 more. I haven't checked the policy on this place but Bob's prides themselves on; if there's anything wrong, we will replace it, no charge, cause that's our guarantee. Yes, I need to look at the policy from here but who's to say it won't happen again, nor from Bob's 🤔 ANYWAY, the furniture they had was nice but be discerning...

I really really like this place. I love their deals. I’ve been looking for this bed that they had and I really wanted it. I was willing to wait. They had a credit thing where I could get to bed and put money down. I love how it has the storages on the side to put things up since I was having a baby on the way and you could also sit on the storages and not just lay down in the bed, which was perfect for me. I definitely love the store eventually later, I’m gonna obviously come back and get more stuff there. The lady I dealt with was very kind and nice. She made sure I got the one that I wanted, which was the beige one however, if they didn’t have the beige one, then I was gonna settle for the smoked gray one, but she could see that really wanted the beige one and I eventually got it thank you family furniture so much for helping me out and sending it to...
