Read moreThis is my neighborhood bar and I’ve really come to love the people I have met here but recently they terminated a bartender after interviewing for her position in front of her and assuring her that everything was fine. And it’s not just that they fired her and NEVER gave her a reason or a chance to improve, they did it via text at 3:30am prior to her 8am shift! I have never heard of an establishment conducting business this way. I would have expected more from this little bar that I’ve come to love. Treat people with the dignity and respect that we all deserve Golden bar management, and it will come back to you in spades....
Read moreI was a little upset because someone damaged property I had placed in the bar with the premission of the bartender. They have cameras but never offered to check. As far as the bar itself, it is a "mom and pop" owned establishment where everyone knows everyone else so you might feel like a outsider on your first few visits if you go by yourself.
