Molly's Diamond Tavern — Restaurant in Nevada

This is actually a cool little bar off Eastern and St.Rose Parkway. It's more of a quiet place although on the weekend it can draw a few people. It's mostly a middle aged crowd not too many twenty something's hanging out here. The bartenders are awesome, every single one of them. They are attentive and extremely personable . All together just a group of real easy going , nice people. The machines do play fairly well also and I'm picky on the venues I choose to play machines at. Many places I won't even waste my time . But here either my husband or I usually walk out ahead or even. They have their own players card that you can earn points on for free slot play. It does seem to take awhile to earn any significant amount of points with just straight play, however they offer many different bonuses that can boost your point total quickly and significantly. For example they do floor bonus games throughout the evening. Everyone playing with a players card inserted in the machine at the time gets included in the bonus round game. Then there's also individual random rewards such as 10$ free play that will just pop up if you've been playing for a little while, randomly as a special bonus. They also do drawings that you win random tickets for as you play that will get you free slot play if you win. You don't even need to be present in order to collect. If you're not present you just get a little bit less. They just put it automatically onto your players card. There's also a large quantity of games the pick from. There's no Buffalo machines however. To me that's not a deal-breaker. They have multi game machines, two different types with a ton of different poker games to choose from, many many different slot games, and then of course your video blackjack and a bunch of Keno's to pick from as well including Cleopatra Keno, Power Keno, Caveman Keno, and regular Keno etc. The bar itself is kept very clean. The bathrooms are kept clean as well. And also there is a restaurant in there so they serve food at the bar. Now I won't review the restaurant here because the restaurant is owned by someone else so technically it's two separate places however I did want to mention that it is open 24 hours a day and the food is served inside the bar 24 hours a day. The parking is free and there's plenty of it. So overall it is a quaint little place. Not where ide chose to go if your looking for a wild night out, but if you and your partner or you and a couple friends wanna sit, have a drink or two, play a few slots or some video poker , somewhere quiet and upkept with decent payouts and an option to eat if you should get hungry then check out...

While I was hesitant at first due to the woman working and her relative cold shoulder turned to a non-local who asked to get a player's card, this would have been a five star review because both her and the new guy she was training turned out to be really cool. The games are fair and I had a good time while I was here. I left shortly after her replacement, Lin, started his shift and about 1.5 hours I returned, entered the bar and asked for the guest WiFi password Lin asked for to see my ID again an attitude. It was after 2am and there was not another soul in the bar I started to grumble about the request but chose to just bite my tongue. After verifying my ID and before providing the password he asked me how long I was going to stay I tried to say I was only going to be a few minutes but he repeated again how long do you need to be here. After repeating my intention to only stay for a few minutes he provided the WiFi password with as much snark as he could muster so I left. I did call shortly after and asked why he had treated me with such disrespect and if I had done something wrong during the hours I had played. Walked in the door looking to gamble a little maybe a hundred bucks or so. With the reception I received from the bar tender(I asked to use restroom before I was gonna sit down). She left me with the impression that I was not received to well from her. The dirty look and the unfriendly directions toward the bathroom. That reminded me why I havnt been in there in 10 years and maybe 5 times since place opened about tweenty years ago. Looking around at the lack of a crowd. I seen 2 people at the bar. This being about 8 30 at night Inwas so impressed that I left. I'm a pretty dapper guy. So for that bar tender to look at me otherwise just shows how a stereotype or even bigoted disreamination she no doubt was thinking is why I can see why at the prime time hours the bar had 2 customers. With one of the 2 appearing to be sleeping with their face planted on the bar. Must be a friend of hers. I've never felt more discrimination in my life. Needless to say I won't patronize this bar ever...
