I was in the neighborhood of the Summerlin location so I ordered from their easy-to-use app their AWESOME lunch special. Two soft tacos, beans, and rice for $7.50. Honestly, that made my decision so easy for lunch today. Choice of meat, tortillas, fillings, extras (are extra). Extensive selections. Everything is fresh, never frozen. Made to order. Note that there is a 99 cents service charge when ordering through the app. The wait time said "up to 25 minutes" but that's in case they are busy in the store, there is a built-in cushion of time so I would never expect immediate order fulfillment here or anywhere. Today, I was there in less than 10 minutes, not expecting my order to be ready and was pleasantly surprised that it was ready to go! I also got a side of pico de gallo and green salsa. Everything fit neatly into a nice sized brown paper bag with handles. While I was inside the restaurant, I noticed how nice the decor was, how clean it was, how fresh all the ingredients looked, how extensive their menu was, how nice their patio was, and how friendly the staff was. The food itself is great. Well balance portions of meat, the toppings I chose, the side of rice and beans. They did not skimp on any of the portions because of the lunch special. Everything tasted delicious and fresh. It's a great, super tasty lunch deal. My lunch order was fulfilled exactly as I ordered it on the app. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. Lots of free parking in downtown Summerlin. There is a free multi-story parking garage adjacent to the restaurant. Read moreI'm overdue with my review and with today's order, Orizaba's has truly exceeded my expectations. First of all, we love their food. Maybe we had a couple mishaps, that didn't stop us from going. Summer who is the manager knows me already. And I can't remember the other manager's name, but she's been so wonderful as well. I believe I spoke with her today. It's funny since I usually order the steak burritos or chicken wraps. They've known for awhile why I would call, requesting a few changes to my order since I couldn't do it online. I mean, no where has anyone provided that kind of customer service and we will forever be customers to Orizaba's. Today, I'm not feeling so well and I completely forgot to call. I thought I was too late to ask for the changes. Well, I didn't have to worry, because they knew that either I called or not, it would be made the way I wanted one of the chicken wraps. Read moreThe food at the downtown Summerlin location is okay, but not up to the standards of the Zaba's on North Durango. They seem to be chintzy on the ingredients. You have to ask for extra Pico, etcetera just to get the same amount I get as a standard at the Durango location. The customer service is also just okay. We've eaten there 3 times and neither time have they asked if we were rewards members. Two of the times we didn't think to say something until just after we paid, and they said that we'd have to go online to add the visit. But when we tried to do so the receipt they gave us didn't have the code needed. On the 3rd time I remembered to say something before paying and she tried telling me that I could go online, and I had to say to her can't you just put in my phone number? I love Zaba's and the Durango location is great, but I will not return to the downtown...
