I have been ordering from this Papa Johns for over 8 years. I usually make pretty large orders as I feed my staff once a month for an appreciation lunch. Today my order got cancelled 45 mins after making the order and 15 mins before the order was expected to be dropped off. I called concerned as I had staff all waiting for lunch and the Manager answered with "We dont deliver to the Convention Center" then when I went to say that we are not even at the convention center and are a business around the corner I couldn't even finish my sentence. HE interrupted me and said "well you have to confirm CASH deliveries". Which over 8 years has never been a problem in the past. I tried to explain weve ordered here for years and years and I get people pull shady stuff in the area as I work in a field that deals with that often but he didnt need to be so rude about it. I did say well I understand maybe you made a policy change but that should have been stated online or you should have removed the cash paid upon delivery option. He cut me off again not ever allowing me to finish a comment or statement telling me "Well I called you when we got the order and I cancelled it due to no response". I said "Sir can I finish a sentence you keep speaking over me". "I also stated as a General manager he should have some form of customer service and let me complete a sentence without being so hostile.
Honestly I tried to just explain I understood a policy may have changed so can we just get the order resubmitted. I'm confirming now and he cut me off and again "Saying I dont kneed you to tell me about customer service, Nor how I speak to people" and all and all was just nasty about the whole situation. I would have just replaced the order and he could have just apologized as a manager should have for the inconvenience with maybe stating he'd try to get it out a little faster due to the situation. But HOLY MOLY whoever the regional or owner is of this place needs to truly find a better GM and someone who can learn to be a little more nice and give some sort of customer service. NICK THE GM HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE- Sounds like he is having a bad day and possibly even on drugs with how outlandish that call was. I literally recorded the call just to make sure it was heard because I had never been spoke to like this in a food establishment. I honestly just wanted to order again and fix the problem with a "okay I know for next time" but with how the Manager was speaking to me I was afraid our food would be spit in or dropped on the floor. Like he was that aggressive and hostile over the phone.

They will hold off on making my order, until that driver is ready to deliver. Hence my previous review... However tonight, strangely that's an issue when the last year they have only had a handful of papa John's drivers to begin with. My previous orders delivered by a PJs driver, who was usually working by himself. Now tonight whoever is managing at 9:34 PM, is acting like this is new information or it's an issue. Even tried to lie and says it never happens, then tried to say "oh must be morning crew". No I only order after 5PM, but I'm glad to see how easy it is for someone to lie as if you've never done this before.
Original I just ordered from this location for the first time today, & was nervous because of all the previous reviews. However having worked for Papa Johns myself, I know & understand both sides. So I called in, to make a request for a Papa Johns driver only. Chris is amazing, and has great energy. He arrived EXACTLY at the scheduled time, with my pizza double bagged; which was HOT & made exactly how I wanted it upon arrival. People tend to leave bad reviews, but never talk about their good experiences. The manager who took my call, was great too; and made sure to hold my order from being made until Chris was ready to deliver. Please take bad reviews with a grain of salt, because Papa Johns has no control over DoorDash drivers. Those reviews should be left for that business, and their driver. Read moreI am seeing the same thing that happened with me in other reviews. On Saturday night February 18, 2017 I had ordered a custom medium 2-topping pan pizza online. I live overseas now in the UK and I am visiting Las Vegas. So one of my cards didn't go through (overseas billing address probably) so I had tried my other card and it was accepted. I had waited for my pizza in the provided time of 15-25 minutes on the email confirmation receipt, I didn't see any driver pull up into Westgate Hotel entrance. So I had called the Papa John's location which the phone number had no answer it kept ringing while I continued to wait. Finally an hour later I got an answer and I told them I had been waiting for an hour. The clerk (man) said give us 30 minutes your pizza almost finished. I waited for 40 minutes and still no driver to drop off my pizza. I was starving and I was frustrated so I called, I cancelled my order. I had asked if I would receive an email to show a cancellation, and the clerk (woman) said yes. I haven't received anything, and I made sure to leave frustrated feedback to the Papa John's location website. I have been calling my banks to make sure I get a refund. I called back Papa John's today February 21, 2017 at 3:50pm I spoke with Michelle who helped me, she explained that a manager is available to speak to on any shift and she set up my refund, it will take a couple of days.
