The Honey Baked Ham Company — Restaurant in New Albany

Ordered online 10/18/23 went to pick up today.. called running behind , sweet lady on the phone said no problem we are open til 7 pm. Arrived at 6:30 and the door was locked.. person at the door said can’t let you in.. explained I had a pick up order even called prior and was assured I could pick up. Finally got in waited 30 mins in a line. Mind you my order was placed and paid for a month prior… got to the counter.. couldn’t find my order, found my order and stated they didn’t have an 8 lb ham I had ordered and paid for.. I received 3 pc of ham totaling 7.74 lbs.. the employees are like.. that’s all we have.. sorry 🤬next yr I will order online and have it delivered and when the small business figure out they lost sales because of their service,...

I drove 20 miles to get a ham and they were closed! The Saturday hours posted on the door are 10 to 3. I got there around 2:20 and it was closed. How frustrating! While I sat outside the door two other customers came to the door and the same surprise. Thanks for wasting my gas.

Update: I visited the store again today and once again, they were closed! I arrived at 5:43, and they were supposed to close at 6 PM. When I peaked in the window, I could see that there were people inside, so I knocked on the door and waited for them to answer, the woman informed me that they were closing early!?? She reluctantly let me purchase what I had come for but she certainly was not happy! I don’t know what’s going on at this location but...

Ive eaten here 3 times. The sandwiches on ciabatta bread… you cannot go wrong. They have not been stingy on the meat or veggies on the sandwiches. The ham is amazing, as well as the chicken salad. Constructive criticism, the Cobb salad was not that great of a deal. After eating it I was hungry about an hour later because it was small. For the price and the size it was not a good value. On one visit I met the owner’s daughter and she served me. She was amazing and made me feel like I wanted to eat there every day! Employees are friendly, but it’s a special treat when the owner’s daughter is there. Highly recommend this place for a sandwich and Mac n cheese made by the owner’s...
