We've been to this Wendy's several times in the last couple months and the food is usually pretty good. My complaint is the person(s) who are taking the orders for the drive-thru have been abrupt and slightly rude that last 2 times I've been there, despite me being polite and respectful. I do understand that rude customers can make the day go rough and so I am patient and kind regardless. However, when I get to the window to receive my order, both times the ladies have again been rude, handed the bags to me in a rough way and then shut the window before I can even say thank you.
With this happening twice in a row now (2 different ladies), it's a little off-putting to me and honestly makes me dread coming here. My husband loves Wendy's and wants to go at least once a week, but I have begun asking him to choose someplace else because I don't like dealing with rude employees. (The young gal that works the payment window has always been funny and super polite to us, though.)
Again, I'm trying to be understanding and kind, but if I'm not the one who put them in a bad mood then why treat me like I did? Not sure when we'll be back again because the last time my husband saw (and heard) it firsthand so he knows that I'm not being dramatic. I don't like leaving negative comments, but I feel like others need to be aware of how they might be treated...
Read moreWow. Where to begin. They are very slow and have horrible customer service. I went through drive thru and it took them almost 5 minutes to take my order. I was the only one in line at the time. I ordered 3 burgers on my way home for the kids. Not thinking they could mess up 3 burgers, i did not check my bag until i got home. BAM... what do you know? You guessed it, they forgot to put the triple in the bag. So i called them and they immediately knew that they made a mistake. Even though they sounded like it was funny and no big deal i was a little irritated. Once i waited another 10 minutes to order they offered me a frosty for my trouble. I asked for another hamburger and she laughed. I just lost about an hour out of my night so i didnt think it was a bad request. Heck... minimum wage is more than what i was asking for an hour of my time. Then she gave me their 50 cent special frosty!!! What an insult. 1 hour of my time, gas, and 2 kids (they split the triple) waiting to eat after their volleyball tournament on national cheeseburger day... and they mess up a 3 item order and give a 50 cent frosty... horrible!! I dont like McDonald's but last time they messed up about 3 years ago, they replaced my entire order for my troubles. Wendys may have fresh beef, but have crappy...
Read moreVentured in to the Wendy’s on Charlestown Road this morning at 10:20 AM. I knew that I couldn’t get lunch until 1030 so I decided I would take my time making my choices and then order when I could. The young man, Elijah, working at the register was so kind and made sure to allow me to order the very second the menus flipped. I have celiac so everything comes to me without a bun and with some otherwise strange requests at times. This young man was quick to tell me they could do things gluten-free just fine. Let me know that if I ever wanted breakfast items they have tons of gluten-free ways they can do things so that I wouldn’t have to wait. Everything I ordered was perfect and obviously fresh since I was first in the lunch line. The environment was fun and friendly interactions between employees were kind and joyful. The restaurant was clean and so were the bathrooms. With restrictions sometimes my experiences aren’t that great so when I have something that is positive all the way around I feel like those people definitely need a shout out. Thank you, Charlestown Road Wendy’s for a great lunch and one that I knew was absolutely safe to eat and wouldn’t cause an...
