Bayside Dimitri's Family Dining — Restaurant in New Baltimore

I decided to try this place on my lunch break today after reading the great reviews on their Facebook page, and riding by almost everyday on my way to work. I placed a carry out order of CHILLI CHEESE FRIES and I sat there literally for over 20 minutes waiting for my order. Several patrons came in after me and received their orders before me. There were 3 waitresses working and one of them finally asked me what was I waiting for. When I told her, it still took another 6 or 7 minutes for me to get my food!! Another waitress (the one who originally took my order) finally gave me my food without even a "sorry" for how ridiculously long it took to get a simple order of fries. I then asked to speak with a manager and she proceeded to tell me that he was busy. Absolutely unacceptable! I am highly upset and unhappy with their poor customer service and will not...

Don’t usually get poor service here but the girl we had tonight was more interested in talking with her family members or friends then taking care of us. We had to ask for silverware, part of the order was forgotten, we had to ask for our bill and no plates were cleared away. Coney dogs were ordered which are messy, so you think extra napkins would have been given. My husband was waiting in line to pay, she rings up the people ahead of him and walked away. Didn’t acknowledge him saying “I’ll be right back” or anything, just left him waiting. Very poor service tonight. Also, the other waitress was busting her butt working, clearing her own tables, etc, while the dishwasher/busboy was walking around with an empty bucket not helping or anything while she was busy....

Fast friendly service and great food! When you go with three people and everybody not only loves what they got but also wishes they had got what everybody else ordered, you know that’s a place you’ll be visiting again. The Italian wedding soup tasted very homemade, the Polish combo plate was authentic and well-made with high-quality ingredients, and the dessert that came with it was delicious. The waitress even help me customize my order a little bit when I said I wish the kielbasa and kraut came with pierogies - she told me I could customize the combo plate and replace the stuffed cabbage with pierogies.
