This was one of the best dining experiences I've had in quite a while. The young man at the counter was super friendly, very polite and was a hard worker. the manager was very polite and seemed like a good guy just trying to run his business. The atmosphere was really cool. it had a very old school nostalgic but authentic feel to it. it didn't feel cheesy and gimmicky, it felt like somewhere that you were meant to go and enjoy the simple things. My daughter played her first game of pinball and is actually very good at it naturally, so we got to have that little memory. The food is incredible!! the hamburgers are really really. good the mac and cheese (deep fried) looks like a little piece of pie and it is excellent! the little chicken sandwiches are just perfectly done. they're not cheap flat store-bought chicken tenders, they're thick juicy and well fried but not overly done. The deep fried pickles are beer battered and the breading is very unique but very delicious. I recommend taking a deep fried pickle and sticking it in your burger. it really adds something special. I could go on but I used to come there when that was Pizza Hut way back in the day and I'm glad to see that the restaurant has morphed into something I like even more. everybody should really go give this place a try!! they deserve your business. I very much plan to continue to eat here as often as possible and I really really want to see them succeed. If the staff happens to read this thanks again for...
Read moreI work in Mt. Clemens and used to come here fairly regularly. The food is excellent, which is why they have three stars instead of one. Service is slow during the lunch hour, but to be fair, it must be difficult to staff a place when you only need an extra person for a short period of time. However, about a year and a half ago, I stopped coming here because it just got too dirty. As someone else mentioned in a review, thier hood over the burgers doesn't really work, and as a result everything in this place was coated in a layer of grease. There was actually grease dripping off one of thier order screens. They simply do not clean well here. After discussing that with another town worker a few months later, I was told they had wiped up a bit, so I returned. Wiped up was the best way to describe it, and even though the food was great as usual, I decided I probably woudn't go back unless they managed to start caring about cleanliness. Then I saw the owners on CNN espousing their political beliefs. I hope that increased their business. For me, even though I would fight for their right to state what they did, I couldn't disagree more with what they had to say, and as a result, I can no longer spend my money here in good conscience. I know...
Read moreCraving a burger but not fast food and I just happened to be close to Seeburger's... finally! For some reason I thought it was a sit down service but you order from the counter then either done in our carry out.. kinda like a fast food place with a diner vibe. Diner was cute; what you'd expect but kinda dirty. The side of the fountain drink machine and the trash can lid in that area and the restroom were super dirty. There was only 3 other people in there and of course I chose to sit at a dirty table. Just a few crumbs so I just wiped them off with a wipe. Counter service was excellent and the cook (might be owner? I dunno) came out and asked if I'm enjoying the food. That was nice. I did enjoy the food. I got the 3 slider combo with fries and fountain drink. Sliders were tasty with cheese and onion but the bun to meat ratio was off. The bun was big and the burger was kinda small. I would suggest using smaller buns or make the patty slightly bigger and just serve 2? I ended up taking a lot of bun of two of them. The fries were really good. Crispy, hot and fresh. Cost was $9 tipped a buck (I normally don't to counter service at all but she was...
