Dairy Queen Store — Restaurant in New Baltimore

It seems to be a hit or miss on whether you wait in line or not at any location bc Dairy Queen is just so good. In my experience there food is similar to fast food menu options just dairy queen's food is much better tasting!! Maybe closer to home cooked food than fast foods pre cooked, frozen, & really greasy, patties & chicken. I usually get something along the lines of chicken 🐔 and the meat was the good kind of juicy, good thickness to the patty, ( probably why it was the good kind of juicy ) thankfully there was no crunchy end pieces from any breading or fat. I get this feeling thru out my body kinda like the hair standing up on the back of ur neck sensation, whenever I take a bite of a good sized chunk of fat. Not to mention the bread of the buns used is way better quality than fast food places usually have. I'm personally not a fan of the thick fry's in general but I've never received under cooked nor over cooked fry's from Dairy Queen. Oh well now I think some locations may be different but they have crinkle fry's. Of course the ice cream is phenomenal and always a bonus. I think that their kids meals even come with ice cream option I know they used to when I was a kid. It's understandable why there's usually a long line of customers. Mike Delaney, When our line is constantly wrapped around the building and we are busy after one car after another we usually have to change our mix. Mix becomes difficult to use once it’s changed for a few cars. ALL of MY employees would have remade your cone if you would have simply asked!! We always will remake something if it was not to your standards. We also are locally owned as we were business of the year for new Baltimore two years ago! Our employees are 98% of our crew high school and college students. Something I seem not to understand is your competence in knowing how to be a human being. Prices go up every season yet they give less product. For instance my wife loves the banana split billzzard she usually gets it with no pineapple and instead just extra strawberries. Now they charge her for the extra strawberries (although she is still not getting the pineapple) and than she got one the other day and the only thing in it was 1 piece of banana and ice cream. Thats it! We called to complain and they said bring it back, well at that point we already put our kids to bed (after putting our deserts in the freezer when we got home) and didnt want to go back out. They than said to bad thats all they would do. $4+ for a cup of vanilla ice cream! Insane!
