New Chinese Food Takeout — Restaurant in New Bern

Would have given no stars. I use to be a regular customer at this restaurant and have spent a lot of money over the years, until recently when we placed an order. We were on a cellphone and told the lady that worked there the order but she couldn't hear part of it possibly due to us having a bad signal. When I picked up the order and noticed there were onions on the rice, and I heard my daughter tell her no onions, her daughter got upset. The lady immediately came from the back and swore we didn't tell her no onions and they were very rude and unprofessional. She tried to scold me like I was a child in front of other customers, when they could have just resolved the issue. I am working on my business degree, and I learned to keep the customer satisfied because it could lead to customer "turn-off." For a container of rice that cost $6, they lost a good customer that could have spent at-least $1000 over the years to come. So, my mom goes and orders food from this place and they get the order wrong. My mom goes back after spending 55.00 and says hey...I need all the food I ordered they refused. My mom calls the police and the police take the side of the restaurant and tell them they don't have to honor the meal because it's he say vs she says. The lady there was very rude when I asked for extra condiment's she wanted more money I payed with a card. I didn't understand why she treated me that way. I didn't think I should have pay for extra condiments. She should have stated that they cost extra when I asked for it in the beginning when she took my money when I asked for extra condiments it was my first time there the food was alright.
