Famous Baking Company — Restaurant in New Bern

I ordered a Lemon Blueberry cake. But instead of the blueberries on top of the cake, I had them switch to the mixed berries with mixed berries in the lemon cake. Yummy!!!

This bakery was so easy to place an order from out of state. They were extremely kind, professional and gracious in taking my order at no extra fee.

It was my mom’s 95th birthday. They were actually able to write “Happy 95th Birthday” on top of her cake.

I had a family member stop by to pick it up. It was just as beautiful and perfect as all of the websites photos. It was also the hit for her Birthday. I ordered the smaller cake because I thought it was just the two of them. It ended up being 8 people who arrived as a surprise. It was plenty of cake and almost half of it was left over for her to have a mother piece or two the next day or two.

So, thank you to this bakery!!! You were the hit! I look forward to ordering from you several times in the future. If ever I’m in Newbern, I will stop in to shop. God bless you all.

I can still taste our wedding cake flavors to this day!! Famous Bakery was such a pleasure to work with when creating our dream wedding cake as well as picking out our favorite flavors for our August 26, 2023 wedding. One of our favorite times during wedding planning was our cake tasting. My husband, my mom, my mother in law and myself all were headed to our wedding venue for a meeting when we stopped by Famous to pick up our cake tasting. Oh my goodness, they really outdid themselves. We got to the hotel and sat around each tasting and telling our favorites. This was such a fun and (delicious) experience for us! The day of the wedding, Famous delivered and set up our cake where we did not have to worry about anything. Our cake was an absolutely stunning part of our special reception. They took our vision and went above and beyond. Us and all of our guests still rave over how delicious our cake was...

Made a last minute order for birthday cake on a Wednesday to pick up on Friday. Ordering was done through email and then I just went in and paid, later that evening there was a threat of a winter storm coming the day (Friday) I needed to pick up the cake so I thought well I’ll just ask and see if they can get it completed sooner… and they DID they said it was no problem and they had the cake ready by 4pm the next day, I was able to pick it up and have the surprise party!! the storm did come through so they realky saved me and my so d bday!! highly recommend just based on customer service and communication skills alone!!& now let’s talk about the flavor of the cake absolutely perfect we ordered the Oreo cake with chocolate ganache filling, The only thing I would change is that i need bigger cake next time just so I could...
