Piggly Wiggly — Local services in New Bern

On the 26th of April 2018 I picked up a birthday cake for my 26 y/o autistic daughter who has the mind of about a 12 y/o child and is my only daughter. When i got the cake to my ex-wife's house about 45 minutes latter in an air conditioned truck. My daughter blew out her candles and cut a small piece for herself, my ex-wife and I we put our individual pieces in our mouths and literally almost at the same time spit the cake out it was either stale, old or i don't know what but it was very dry, it did not have the type of topping I ordered for it and the design work for the image I requested to be placed on it looked like it has been done by a toddler with a crayon. Needless to say my daughter was sad about this. But I might not have been so surprised if the Piggly Wiggly in Grantsboro had their turn last year to screw up my daughters cake. So message is clear do not ever buy a specially made birthday cake from any Piggly Wiggly store-Special note in fairness the New Bern Piggly Wiggly day manager reimbursed the cost of the cake, but that does not take away from bad...

The Manager and store are Aces in my Book,,,had stopped in Maysville Location and purchased some Hotdogs to grill. They were spoiled and no good ,,pure down Slimy,,,, contacted the Manager Rick and he had no concern it seemed about it. The Manager in New Bern was then contacted because the Maysville Manager said I could only return to thier location to exchange said spoiled items,,,even with a receipt. However,,the Manager Ioana,,(((Hope I spelled that correctly))) told us to just bring the items there and he would be happy to exchange said items and not make us go all the way back to Maysville,,,so I would recommend going to the New Bern location over anywhere else if you want fresh food and a welcome caring atmosphere...

this is a Piggly Wiggly hometown Store, where they still have meat cutters and you can still get that butcher customized treatment. And you can have them order things for you if they don't carry it cuz I've done it before. And that product was the Anaheim pepper they didn't carry it at the time I was seeking. So get Piggly Wiggly in New Bern North Carolina try. Can you can also get home cook style meals here, all of the food that I had here has always been good. The only disadvantage of this place is they don't have a standard when it comes to the carryout meals meaning they change Cooks too often. Every time I've went there I've been fortunate enough to have meals from a cook that has passion...
